Serving with all my heart,
Emmanuel Flores 2 The end of the term has at last arrived. It has been a profound honor serving you all as Lieutenant Governor and I am extremely grateful for all that this division has taught me. The unfailing kindness, the fiery passion, the dedication to service I witness in each and every one of you continues to inspire me. I will forever take pride in what we as a division were able to accomplish, from implementing a club-buddy system to organizing the first ever D34 Holiday-a-thon, and I have supreme faith that next term, under Kristen Carpio’ s leadership, Division 34 North will ascend to even greater heights! Given that this message constitutes my last as your Lieutenant Governor, I would like to recognize certain groups of individuals. To the diligent and hard-working Division Leadership Team, I am immensely appreciative of your service and your consistent commitment to improving this wonderful division. To the ape-mazing club officers, thank you for taking initiative when others could not, for going beyond your basic duties and responsibilities when necessary, for working with each-other to best serve your respective clubs. To the advisors, those that guided us when we were lost, provided rides when we needed them, and supported us through all the adversity of the term, rest assured that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Finally, to the aqua-tastic members, the foundation of this division, none of Division 34 North’ s success this term would have been possible had it not been for the time and effort you all have dedicated to this organization. For all the contributions you all have made to your home clubs and this division alike, I am tremendously grateful. Finally, I have a quote for you all to ponder: “Don’t cry because it's over, smile because it happened” (Dr. Seuss). With District Convention around the corner, let us reflect upon both the successes and learning lessons of this term, the triumphs and the adversity, and be appreciative of it all. Please spread this wisdom and do great things my fellow Aqua Apes! How’s it going Aqua Apes?!
