New Logo The new Polaroid logo represents instant, sharing, and memory. The new logo comprises two elements, the logo symbol, and logotype. The type balance perfectly with the logo symbol. The new logo is presented through the use of color as well as shape and form. For colors, it uses orange, blue, and yellow. It will show energetic feeling. For the symbol, it combines character “P” and “O,” and shape look likes “wing” the whole symbol look likes “windmill”. It is a fresh blend of elements chosen for their potent combination that show its instant, memory, and sharing. It is very geometric.

Logo Anatomy Symbol It is essential to keep Polaroid marks clear of any other graphic elements. The symbol itself and name—they have a fixed relationship that should never change in any way. Here is a chance to see how the logo came true. The basic shape of the logo is a circle. The visuals are composed of the geometric puzzle pieces as well as negative space.

Logo Anatomy Wordmark Through for the brand attributes, carefully chosen the font that used here is Montserrat. The wordmark for the brand has been created keeping the brand attributes in mind. For the wordmark, the measurement (X)—used as a standard for the reconstruction from Montserrat—was defined as the width of the Letter “P” stroke. Then, other letters elements were base on this measurement.

Signatures Polaroid has two signatures which should use on different occasions. As well as the wordmark and symbol, the signatures must be strictly followed. It’s important not to alter the proportions to keep consistency and enhance the visual identity strength.

Clear Space An area of non-interference is defined in order to protect the integrity of the logo. If other visual elements are placed in this area, the understanding of the logo may be negatively affected, it could alter the original message the logo intent to communicate and its memorization is compromised.

Logo Versions Polaroid logo has four versions in which it can use. Among these four, there are the symbol and wordmark that can be used individually and two signature versions. Each of the options has a specific situation to be used and also a priority choice.
