LIFEGUARDING – BLENDED LEARNING

Lifeguarding-Blended Learning 10/28-10/30 Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Friday, 3-8 p.m. Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

$125, $150

Registration for this course closes two weeks prior to the class. This course will consist of an online portion to be completed prior to the first day of in-person class. Students must be able to swim 500 yards, tread water for two minutes and complete a brick test before registering for course. Upon completion, students will earn a certification in Lifeguarding, CPRO, AED, and First Aid.

REGISTRATION STARTS AUGUST 23

Registration closes seven days prior to scheduled class dates. Students must be in attendance for the full duration of the course, participate actively, demonstrate skills to the objective and pass the written exams to receive certifications.

REFUNDS A full refund will be given if the class size does not meet minimum class size or the participants cancels seven days prior to the first day of class. Contact aquatics@gsu.edu for refunds.

CERTIFICATIONS All certifications are given through the American Red Cross.
