NHBB QUALITY MANAGER

New Hampshire Ball Bearing’s Astro Division is located in Laconia, NH—heart of the scenic Lakes Region. Astro is a World-Class 450+ person, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other ultra-precision metal part for the aerospace industry.

Looking for a transformational leader to manage and direct quality personnel including organizational preparation for ISO & AS audits, management review of quality systems, and advancing Astro’s Certified Operator Program. Experience with international Quality System rules, regulations, including essential planning and implementation functions required. Responsible for leading initiatives to improve internal and delivered quality performance.

Position requires Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Applied Sciences. Quality Assurance experience in an aerospace component manufacturing environment or other technology-driven Continuous Improvement environment. Six Sigma, Professional Development, 6s, and root cause analysis experience desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills including PC based computing in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is essential.

TOOL DESIGN ENGINEER

The duties of this position includes designing, drawing and troubleshooting the setup and operation of all cutting tools, jigs and fixtures used to manufacture the Division’s products. Conceive and carry out projects for improvements in both manufacturing and engineering. A BSME or equivalent is preferred. Minimum requirements are Associate Degree in a related field with 3 to 5 years tool design experience. Must have experience with and be proficient in any type of CAD software. (Solidworks experience preferred).

INTAKE DEPUTY CLERK 2024-02

The United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire is accepting applications for a full-time Intake Deputy Clerk who possesses excellent organizational and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be industrious, creative, intelligent, diplomatic, energetic, forward thinking, dynamic, public-service oriented and versatile with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. While accuracy and attention to detail is essential, equally important is the ability to exercise independent judgment as required and to take ownership of and manage both assigned duties and special projects. Candidates will be expected to work in a team environment and possess the ability to interact with all segments of the legal community and public.

The Intake Deputy Clerk performs a variety of duties, including receiving, reviewing, and filing documents and maintaining court files in compliance with federal and local rules and procedures. This position provides customer service and cashier duties, provides procedural information, and collects court fees. The Intake Deputy Clerk also performs initial case docketing.

A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience dealing with lawrelated matters and an outstanding working knowledge of computer applications are preferred. Full benefits are available with a starting salary range of CPS CL24 $49,044 to $79,767, depending upon experience, with promotion potential to CPS CL27. Position Opening Part-time

Town Administrator

The Town of Antrim (approx. pop 2,700) is accepting applications for the position of a part-time Town Administrator. With a traditional town meeting form of government and reporting to a three-member Board of Selectmen, the Town Administrator manages an annual operating budget of $4.6 million. The Town Administrator acts as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Select Board and implements the orders and policies of the Board in accordance with all laws and Town rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, and procedures.

The Town of Antrim employs a part-time Deputy Town Administrator to assist the Town Administrator with the dayto-day operations and advances the goals of the Select Board as directed, particularly in areas requiring coordinatio n/collaboration between departments.

A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated municipal management experience and knowledge/experience in areas of budget/finance, grant writing and implementation, human resources, planning, policy management and project management is desired. Starting salary commensurate with qualifications.
