OFFICIANT: FATHER FIDELE O DIKETE Francisco G. Davis was born February 25, 1925, to Wilkes and Manuela Davis in Del Rio, Texas. He went into the loving arms of the Lord December 14, 2013, at the blessed age of 88. He and his loving wife of 66 years, Emma Longoria Davis, made their home in San Antonio. He was proud, decorated soldier during World War II and was a civil service aircraft electrician at Kelly Air Force Base for 35 years. He precedes the death of his daughter Sandra E. Caise and son Glenn A. Davis and is survived by his children, Gerald F. Davis (Leticia), Jacquelyn D. Sandoval (David), Efrain L. Davis (Elsa), Mark C. Davis (Dolly) and Natalie A. De La Cruz (Richard), sister Elizabeth Reyna (Mariano), 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Visitation at Castillo Mission Funeral Home (520 N. Gen. McMullen) will begin Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 4pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. A funeral mass to be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10am at St. John Berchman Catholic Church (1147 Cupples Rd.) with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
