The use of tobacco in any form is not allowed on USD 368 property, in USD 368 owned/leased/rented vehicles, in contracted school buses or at USD 368 activities at any time, by anyone. (See JCDAA). A student shall not knowingly possess, sell, use, transmit, or be under the influence of any narcotic drug, hallucinogenic drug, amphetamine, barbiturate, marijuana, any controlled substance, or alcoholic beverage of any kind: - on school grounds before, during, or after school - on school grounds at any other time when the school is being used. - off school grounds during a school function Use of a drug authorized by a medical prescription from a registered physician shall not be considered a violation of this rule. Violation of any provision of this may result in suspension or expulsion. Use of a drug dog has been authorized by the Board of Education as a part of the drug-free program
Immunizations/Physicals Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade must have 5 DTaP (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus). 4 Polio, 2 MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), 3 Hepatitis B Vaccines and 2 Varicella Vaccines. The first MMR/Varicella must be on or after the child’s first birthday. One dose of polio must be after the child’s fourth birthday. All 7th-12th grade students are required to have one dose of Tdap regardless of the interval since the last dose of Dtap or Td. All kindergarten students must present a signed physical exam form at the time of enrollment. Physicals are also required for students involved in sports and for those students new to the district that are 8 years of age or younger. USD 368 respectfully informs parents and students that the Family Privacy Act of 1974 applies to our student body. Student Directory information will be considered public and may be released by USD 368 including, but not limited to, colleges and the military. FIREARMS REGULATIONS
FIREARM BUYERS: All sales of Firearms are subject to the requirements and background checks of the ATF and FBI no exceptions. The following regulations apply to all firearms sales. 1. All long gun buyers must be 18 years of age. 2. All hand gun and home protection guns must be 21 years of age. 3. All buyers must fill out form 4473, day of the auction. 4. All buyers must pay in full, day of the auction for all purchases. 5. Please read the form 4473 carefully, there have been changes. 6. Please answer all questions thoroughly, write legibly while filling out the form (or we will have to ask that you re-do the form). 7. All Firearms will have a form 4473 (except black powder guns)
When calling FBI NICS for checks one of the following will happen: 1. Proceed, you are approved and can take the firearms with you. 2. Delayed, you cannot have your firearm until approved (within 3 business days) - Write phone number at top of form 4473. 3. Denied, if you are denied, all your money will be refunded less a $100.00 processing fee. 4. Firearms left after 30 calendar days will be re-sold for storage. NON-RESIDENT BUYERS Missouri and Other bordering states must furnish a licensed firearms dealer in your state, shipping will be C.O.D. to that dealer.
