K Street Festival at BGC Kicking off the month of June is the first-ever ‘K Street Festival’ happening from May 31 to June 1 at C1 Park, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig. The two-day free festival has seven staging areas themed to target the different sectors of Korea’s popular presence in the country such as K-Art, K-Beauty, K-Fun, K-Tour, K-pop, K-Dramas, and K-Food. It carries out the mission to provide the community with the best activities to learn the traits and culture of Korea. KCC in partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Culinary Institute will hold the annual “Global Taste of Korea” cooking competition on June 15 at LPU Culinary Institute. Aside from the annual cookoff visitors of the event will get a chance to take home special giveaways and participate in our FREE cooking workshop* (*limited slots only)! KCC is now accepting applications for the 2019 Pinoy K-pop Star! The competition will have two categories—the VOCAL CATEGORY, the singing competition, and the PERFORMANCE CATEGORY, which is both a SINGING and DANCING competition with a focus on the overall performance of the group rather than just the singing or dancing quality of the contestant. To celebrate the 70th year of PH-Korea bilateral relations a friendship parade is slated on June 2, 6 AM at Quirino Grand Stand. After the parade cultural events, K-Pop performances and Taekwondo demonstration from Korea’s Kukkiwon Demonstration Team will be held. Participants of the parade will also be given FREE event T-shirt, beverages, and other giveaways.

PHIL-KOR 70th Anniversary Diplomatic Relations Friendship Parade

A free concert to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the Korea war will be held on June 25 7PM at Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and Seocho Philharmoniker of Korea, through their performance, will pay tribute to the Filipino and Korean veterans of war.
