Since the Garden of Eden it has been God’s will for His people to have all the
good! Think about it. When God created the Garden, He placed everything good
there and everything was plentiful. Plenty of food grew on the trees. There was no shortage of gold. Sickness was unheard of in the Garden. There was no lack. There was shalom in the Garden of Eden, which means in a few words, there was “nothing missing and nothing broken.” Before they sinned, Adam and Eve experienced shalom—peace, fullness, wholeness. Now that’s living satisf ied! When you go to Israel and they say “Shalom” to you, they are asking, “How is your wholeness? Is everything together? Is everything going your way?” That is also what the word salvation means—fullness and success in every area of life. Salvation is defined as “deliverance, preservation, material and temporal deliverance from danger and apprehension, pardon, protection, liberty, health, restoration, soundness and wholeness.”
God left nothing out of His plan of salvation for us! Strong’s Concordance defines the Hebrew word for
satisf ied as “to fill to satisfaction, have enough, fill full, be full of, have plenty of, satiate, satisfy, suffice.”
“With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:16)
This same word can be translated “weary of.” Some people become weary of living on earth, so they choose to go on to the next life before their time. But I think it’s much better to live out our days in victory—I think it’s much better to be a testimony of God’s goodness. It blesses God to see His people take His Word and live on it until they are satisfied. Having everything in place—experiencing satisfaction in our lives is the will of God. Webster’s 1828 Dictionary sums this up by defining satisf ied as “having the desires fully gratified, made content.” God desires for you and me to live satisfied until we’re ready to move on to heaven with our work accomplished. If you aren’t satisfied, you haven’t fulfilled what God has called you to do. Keep growing in the Lord until everything in your life is taken care of. Live until your needs are met, your family’s needs are met, God’s needs are met and you are satisfied. Choose God and His Word | Deuteronomy 30:15-20 reveals the key to living satisfied. Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster, between life and death. I have commanded you today to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, laws, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and become a great nation, and the Lord your God will bless you.... I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! Choose to love the Lord your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land (New Living Translation). We must attach ourselves to God and not let go! We must obey His Word when it’s easy and when it’s hard. We have a choice. Heaven and earth still witness the choices we make. If we choose to follow God and His Word, then heaven and earth are called upon to bless us, to see to it that our needs are met, to make sure we are satisfied, and that we live long and live strong. God and His Word must become our life if we desire to be blessed rather than cursed. M A Y

You can live in peace and get up in the morning feeling Satisf ied.
You can know that whatever happens in the world, God is in you and He’s taking care of you.
The Abiding Word | This is what God is saying to us today: Oh, that you would choose life. Oh, that you would take My Word, believe it and act on it, so I can do you good. That is what leads to being satisfied. Proverbs 3:1-2 in The Amplif ied Bible says, “My son, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of a life [worth living] and tranquility [inward and outward and continuing through old age till death], these shall they add to you.” Through old age till death! That is very important. With God the blessings don’t slack off just because you’re getting older. Don’t let go of the blessings just because of old age. Expect increase every year! Living long, strong and satisfied is a matter of the heart. It takes a lot of time in the Word to become convinced by faith that God’s Word is true and it will work for you. It has to go through your eyes, your ears, your mind, your soul, and get down into your heart where it lives and abides. Jesus said in John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” How do you know if the Word is abiding in you? If the Word talks to you, it abides in you. When trouble comes, if you hear deliverance scriptures or healing scriptures in your heart, the Word is speaking to you. It is abiding in your heart. If instead you hear something negative in your heart, then doubt is abiding there. No matter what comes your way, your first thought should be the Word. So stay in the Word and find out what God says. Then you can walk in the promises by faith. Make the Lord your abiding place, your place of security. Psalm 91 and its blessings are addressed to the abider. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (verse 1). The Amplif ied Bible goes on to say, “Whose power no foe can withstand.” The only security in this life is to get into that secret place and abide, and to put God’s words of deliverance in your heart and speak them out your mouth. The abider doesn’t just hear the Word; he also acts on it. The abider is the person God will satisfy with His salvation. 6 |

Words That Satisfy | The Word of God will give you a long, satisfied life of victory—if you say what God says and do what God says to do. When your heart and your mouth are full of the Word, it changes things. Your words are your faith speaking. According to Proverbs 18:20-21, “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” If you desire a good life, bring your words and actions in line with what God says. First Peter 3:10-11 says, “For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.” I enjoy life. If you aren’t enjoying life, you’re not doing it right. Life on earth with God is full of satisfaction. I desire for you to have the same assurance, peace and well-being in your life that Ken and I have. But that kind of assurance didn’t just fall on us. We didn’t just go on about our lives, living and talking the way the world does. We had to change our words, thoughts and actions to agree with what God says. That’s not always easy, but it’s certainly not easy to live defeated either! Fill your mouth and your life with wisdom from God’s Word. It will make the difference between living in defeat and living satisfied. Wisdom Makes the Difference | Wisdom is what makes God so great. He desires that His children also have wisdom so they can be great, full and satisfied. Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God’s Word and life’s experiences], for the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, and the profit of it better than fine gold. Skillful and godly Wisdom is more precious than rubies…. Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches
beat-down attitude, your faith isn’t working. You have no strength and it’s easy for the enemy to move into your life. But Nehemiah 8:10 says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” Don’t be sad or depressed. “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). Length of days, riches, honor, peace, happiness— Find out what God says and get happy! walking in obedience to the wisdom of God has perks you Walk in love and obedience. When you go after the can get excited about. It’s scriptural to be happy, satisfied things of God, you will be happy and have peace. and full of joy when you tap into God’s wisdom. According to Proverbs 14:30, “A calm and undisturbed It will hold you steady in this life. No matter how busy mind and heart are the life and health of the body…” you are, take in the Word every day through your eyes (The Amplif ied Bible). This is talking about a heart free and ears. from worry, anger, resentment, envy, hostility, or grief. It’s When you drive to work, instead of listening to talk a heart of peace and love that is focused on the Word shows, listen to the Word of God or teaching tapes. By the of God. Kellie: Circumstances may be saying one thing, your flesh may be screaming another and your mind and emotions are going crazy…you just don’t know what to do! , Have you ever been there? Have you ever been in a situation where you desperately needed wisdom? I think all of us could answer “Yes, I’ve been there!” Perhaps some of you are even there today. , Well, I want you to know God’s wisdom is available to you when the enemy fires a missile your way. But not only then, His wisdom is available to you every day. It’s available in His Word and by His Spirit. , The believer’s success and freedom are found in Ecclesiastes 12:13: Fear God and keep His commandments—keep His Word. Honoring, revering and obeying God’s Word is the basis for correcting whatever is wrong in your life. , There is nothing under the sun for which the Word of God is not the answer. You can stand confidently on the integrity of God’s Word in every situation and know the enemy can’t possibly win. , And here’s more good news: His Word won’t just make you OK—it will bring you out on top!
Terri: That’s right. James 1:5 says, “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly…and it will be given him” (The Amplif ied Bible). , God’s wisdom is readily available to us for every situation in life, therefore victory is available to us. , True wisdom is practical and real. You can apply it in your life. Asking for God’s wisdom and receiving it isn’t confusing or strange when it becomes your lifestyle. Wisdom is an easy thing to attain when the framework for decision making, for thinking, for everything you do comes from the Word. , From reading it by yourself, to that exchange that you have one-on-one, to the anointing that comes from the fivefold ministry gifts as they disperse wisdom to you—that spirit of wisdom is readily available.
When circumstances squeeze us, whatever is inside will come out. The way we react in a situation can prove our faith
God’s wisdom may also come through friends and family. The way wisdom comes to you can be astounding. Have you ever had somebody say something to you that lifts your thinking to a whole new level? Kellie: There have been so many times, Terri, when I couldn’t see clearly but you could. And you spoke the wisdom of God I needed to hear. We need to fellowship with other believers. When we come together, there are pieces of wisdom that you have for me and there are pieces of wisdom that I have for you. You may read your Bible today and a scripture may catch your attention. Two days later when you meet a friend for lunch, you realize that verse is the answer to her situation…it’s the wisdom she needed. Terri: Every time we share the Word like that, it also causes us to become more rooted and grounded in it. But the Bible is very clear that we’re not to be proud of our knowledge or revelation of the Word. We should always be humble and grateful and realize, “Wow! That’s God! That’s God talking. Hallelujah!” Recognize that God simply used you to give the wisdom that was asked for. Kellie: God has promised to give you wisdom when you ask, so “I don’t know what to do” should not even be part of your vocabulary. You may ask the Lord, “What am I going to do?” But don’t ask it as if there’s no hope for an answer. There is an answer—expect to hear it! God says if you will ask, He will give you wisdom. And when you ask Him for wisdom, it’s important that you be committed to do what He says. Every day, when I pray for my family, I also declare, “Lord, we hear every Word that You say to us and we obey You promptly.” That confession has changed my life. It’s changed the way I respond to things. When I hear something in my spirit, I immediately act on it. Isn’t that what we, as parents, expect from our children? When I say, “Take out the trash,” I don’t want to see that trash in my kitchen two hours later. I want my children to obey me. As they obey us, our children are being trained to obey the Spirit of God. Many times, I’ve said to my children: “I’m right in front of your face—you don’t need one ounce of faith to hear my voice or to do what I say. You simply have to do what I tell you to. If you can’t do that, how will you be able to
or our doubt.
obey the Spirit of God when He speaks to you in a still, small voice?” Obedience has a lot more to do with life and godliness than just taking out the trash! God will give you His wisdom when you ask, but there is a condition: “Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind” ( James 1:6, The Amplified Bible). If you keep your eyes on the circumstances instead of on the Word, you won’t be able to stay in faith, and your heart will not be in tune to the wisdom of God. Being blown about “hither and thither” reminds me of the undertow in an ocean. The ocean surface is coming in one way and the current beneath is going in the opposite direction. If the current is strong enough, it can pull you under. Wavering and doubting can cause an undertow to your faith. But if you are in tune with your spirit and God’s wisdom that’s coming out of it, you’re going to stay on course. And if you continue to practice the things you’ve learned, you can avoid another crisis. You build up these truths on the inside of you on a daily basis. Terri: Matthew 7:24-27 talks about building your house on truth—on the rock. Anyone who listens to my teaching and obeys me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse, because it is built on rock. But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will fall with a mighty crash (Matthew 7:24-27, New Living Translation). The Word of God is the solid foundation on which to build your life. It takes time to build a strong foundation. Then it takes time to build layer upon layer, until you have a stable structure. In contrast, verses 26-27 talk about a man who built his house on the sand. Even though it may look good, a house built on a lesser foundation is unstable. It’s important to understand that there are different processes of growth in spiritual house building. To be successful, you almost have to start in someone else’s house.

You have to learn from a person who has successfully built a solid foundation. And the wise person starts building before a storm. Our goal should be to have such a solid foundation that we could not only weather a storm, but we could actually go through a storm without even realizing there was one! We do that by seeking God and His wisdom before difficult situations occur. Kellie: Psalm 1:1-3 gives the key to having a constant, good life: Habitually meditate in the Word day and night. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with scoffers. But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about his law. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and in all they do, they prosper (New Living Translation). A tree planted by a river isn’t affected if there’s a drought. Why? Because the roots of that tree are watered by the river. It bears fruit without fail. Terri: You can have the victory every time. Time spent in the Word and prayer puts you on top. It prevents the Word from being choked out and unfruitful. I can hardly talk about prayer without talking about our grandmother Nonnie. She was strong in the Lord. She loved the Word, she read the Word. And, oh, could she talk to Jesus! She talked to Him all the time. She would be sitting at the sewing machine and I would sit at her feet while she worked that double pedal. I just loved to sit there and play and listen to her talk to Jesus…or sing to Jesus…or sing to me about Jesus. Then she would begin to pray in tongues. (She even prayed in her sleep!) She lived in His presence and His presence filled the house. She was so captivated and in love with God. And as a result she had a passion and love for people. Knowing the wisdom of God wasn’t hard for her. She was in communion with Him and she always had the victory! First John 5:4 says, “this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” But at the same time, we must be prepared for the pressures that come. Even if we receive the Word with joy and fruit begins to spring up and develop, Mark 4:19 says, “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.” So we must guard against those things. Kellie: Suppose you’re in the midst of a trial right now. What should you do? Well for one thing, James 1:2 says, “Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations” 12 |

(The Amplified Bible). It’s possible to be wholly joyful in every situation if you’ll begin to delight in the law of the Lord, habitually meditate on the Scriptures and become rooted and grounded in the Word. Now, perhaps you’re thinking, Well, my grandmother only went to church on Sunday and things went OK in her life. You need to understand that you can’t do what your grandmother did and expect it to work today. The pressures have changed and greatly increased because of the time in which we live. To be victorious, the Word must be implanted in our hearts and it must be a reality to us. That happens as we feed on the Word, speak it out and act on it. The wisdom of the Lord is in His Word. It’s there for every person to read and know. However, the wisdom in your spirit—the Holy Spirit within you—will give you particulars about your own life on a day-to-day basis. I like to start my day by asking the Lord for wisdom. It’s like tuning a radio, and the Word is a tuner. Reading the Word helps me tune in to what God is saying to me each day. Terri: That’s right, Kellie. And I also like to ask the Holy Spirit to help me take an honest look at myself. First Corinthians 11:31 says as Christians we are to judge ourselves. By doing this, we won’t be in danger of convincing ourselves that we’re full of faith and prepared, if we aren’t. The enemy can’t pull the rug out from under us if we thoroughly examine our hearts and lives and set things right—daily. When circumstances squeeze us, whatever is inside will come out. The way we react in a situation can prove our faith or our doubt. It’s good for this to be revealed so we can know if we are missing it. Kellie: That reminds me of a car I owned. When the gas tank would be almost empty, a device in the car would warn me by saying, “Fuel level is low.” Doubt in your life indicates your “fuel level is low.” Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So when doubt shows up, you know your Word level is low. If you don’t stay in the Word and walk in the spirit, the love of God won’t be operating in your life. As a result, fear and offenses will begin eating away at the power on the inside of you. For a time, you may not even realize it. It’s like the smokestacks on the Queen Mary that had been painted over and over. They looked good on the outside, but when the paint was removed, the smokestacks crumbled because the metal underneath was rusted. That’s a picture of Christians who have not built the Word and the things of God into their lives on a day-to-day basis. When the facade is stripped away, they crumble. James 1:21-25 tells us the importance of not only hearing the Word, but doing it.
Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does (New King James Version).

N It had been with a sense of divine destiny that Marty had married John, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland’s only son. Marty and John desired to have a large family. She and John stood on the Word of God and released their faith for children. At every meal, John prayed, “Father, I thank You that Marty’s pregnant. We have a perfect child.” Marty had been stunned as year after year passed and they had remained childless. She fought discouragement as she set only two places at the dinner table each night. She made herself smile and answer politely when well-meaning friends asked, “Why don’t you have a baby yet? I thought you were going to get pregnant last year.” No. Marty would not be defeated. She made a conscious decision to sow more love into the children around her. She gave baby showers to honor and bless her friends. Every day without fail, she stood on the Word of God in faith. She loved the story of Hannah and knew God was no respecter of persons and what He had done for Hannah He would do for her. Still by 1991, four years after she and John married, she had not conceived. No toys littered her floor. There was no first step, no first tooth and no first word. There was no laughing, crying or giggling—just the quiet order of adult life. That year at the West Coast Believers’ Convention in Anaheim, Kenneth Copeland prophesied over her.
pregnancies and three lost babies took a toll on Marty physically, mentally and emotionally. I don’t think I can do this again. Clinging to God, Marty resisted the temptation to give in to the depression and despair that fought her faith. She dug into the Word and refused to budge. She searched for and found a doctor willing to go the extra mile to find out why she’d lost three children. Now, a year later, she was pregnant again. This time everything was different. Her new doctor monitored her closely. All the sonograms showed a newly forming baby. She was far enough along to share the experience of this latest sonogram with John and Courtney. “Is that our baby?” Courtney asked, pointing to the wavy lines on the monitor. “Not yet,” Marty said. “Be patient.” The probe circled her abdomen, pressing gently. John held Courtney and the three of them watched the monitor in quiet fascination. As the picture came into focus, Marty felt her heart sink. She could see the sac which should have surrounded her baby…it was only a cocoon of warm liquid. There was no baby curled around its fist, no tiny heartbeat pounding… there was no life. “What’s wrong, Mommy?” Courtney asked. Marty tried to speak, but couldn’t form the words.
That day, in a fog of debilitating pain, Marty Copeland lost her fifth child of promise. The emotional blow equaled or surpassed the physical pain.
“Because of your faith,” he said, “the Word has taken root in you, and it won’t be much longer.” Two years later, in 1993, Marty gave birth to Courtney. John took one look at his daughter and said the same thing he’d spoken over her every day for years. “She’s perfect.” Grateful that they’d won the war against infertility, two years later John and Marty decided to have a second child. Before she even realized that she was pregnant, Marty suffered a spontaneous miscarriage. “Don’t worry, this happens all the time,” her doctor said. “You’ll get pregnant again.” Later the same year, she conceived a second time, only to miscarry. Was it a boy or a girl? Marty wondered, her heart lurching. The following year, Marty conceived for the third time since Courtney’s birth. The pregnancy progressed normally, and the child within her grew and moved. But, once again she miscarried. Depression tried to take her captive. She fought it with all her strength. Three
As tears started rolling down her face, she attempted a smile for Courtney, and thought, What am I going to tell her? Will this affect her faith in God? Hard Pressed yet Not Crushed | “It was devastating,” Marty recalls. “I was honest enough to realize that the loss of that fourth baby had shaken my faith. “I had been physically and emotionally weakened by four miscarriages. The enemy had hit me hard. I knew I needed time to regroup. So during the following year, I drew strength from God and His Word while guarding my words. “I got pregnant the same year, and this time I knew beyond a doubt that I was fighting a spiritual battle for our children. I immersed myself in the Word. I checked my hormone levels every day. I fought for this baby with everything I had in me, and the pregnancy progressed normally. In June, I traveled to Anaheim for the West Coast Believers’ Convention, which involved a lot of walking in the convention center, and M A Y

keeping up with Courtney. While I was there, I had some spotting. The only people I told were Gloria and John.” Marty flew home from Anaheim with a deep sense of relief—the child within her was safe. Not long afterward, she loaded Courtney into the car with the warm sun kissing her cheeks and Courtney’s happy chatter filling her heart. As she drove toward town, suddenly, inexplicably, excruciating pain ripped through her body. Marty gripped the steering wheel with white knuckles. Struck Down but Not Destroyed | That day, in a fog of debilitating pain, Marty Copeland lost her fifth child of promise. The emotional blow equaled or surpassed the physical pain. Desperate to discover the cause of Marty’s problem, her doctor researched the latest medical studies on the subject. He found an infertility specialist who’d identified a particular antibody—the antiphospholipid antibody—which was present

wasn’t just a fight—it was a full-fledged war. The Lord gave me the wisdom to know that I needed to allow Him to heal and strengthen me before I confronted the enemy. Multiple miscarriages and fluctuating hormones had taken a toll. I was battle-weary and didn’t have the strength to fight. “I knew the words I chose to speak would decide what would come to pass in my life, so after that miscarriage I went to John and said, ‘I can’t talk about having a baby in faith, so please don’t mention it to me for at least
Neither of them realized the power and momentum their faith had generated. Stopping it was like trying to stop a speeding locomotive. in some women who miscarried. No one knew what caused the antibody to form, but when present in a pregnant woman it eventually crossed the placenta and killed the child. Marty’s doctor sent a sample of her blood to the specialist and asked him to test it. Not only did she have the antibody present in her blood, it was the highest level the specialist had ever seen. The only known treatment was to be injected every 12 hours during the entire pregnancy with heparin—a potent blood thinner. The treatment was not well-known and there were potential risks involved. Marty discussed the treatment with another doctor who said, “Marty, if you were my wife and taking these injections was the only way you could have children, I’d say don’t do it.” “If having a son was just something I wanted to do, I would have quit right then,” Marty says. “But I firmly believed it was God’s plan. I wasn’t willing to let the devil win, no matter what personal price I had to pay. However, I knew I wasn’t physically or emotionally ready to step back into the battle. By now I fully understood that this 16 |

a year.’ John understood, and he honored my request. Because of the way he had been raised he didn’t operate in doubt or fear.” God comforted Marty and confirmed that it was His plan—not her plan—for them to have a son. During a meeting in 1998, Dr. Leroy Thompson gave her a word from the Lord. “You are going to have another child,” he declared. From the time of her fifth miscarriage, Marty spent two full years basking in God’s presence and drinking in His healing balm. She also developed a mindset for war. A determined Marty went back to her doctor and discovered that while blood thinners have inherent risk, the prescribed dosage of heparin was very small. With confidence, Marty agreed to the treatment. “I firmly believe that finding and treating the antibody the devil had used to rob me of my children came straight from the throne of God,” Marty explained. “And here’s why: the Bible says, ‘All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made’ ( John 1:3).”
Perplexed but Not in Despair | As soon as Marty conceived, she began the ordeal of giving herself heparin injections in her abdomen and thighs every 12 hours. After days, weeks and months of injections, those areas were bruised and quite painful, but Marty kept her focus on their son of promise. And the heir to God’s promise grew and thrived, heart thumping with promise in each sonogram. Because of the danger associated with long-term blood thinners, Marty’s labor was induced so she could be taken off the heparin 48 hours before giving birth. Nine months and more than 540 injections later, Jonathan David Copeland was born on April 25, 2000. When Kenneth Copeland walked into the hospital room, Marty smiled, handed her son to his grandfather and said, “There he is. I’m done!” Seven pregnancies had given John and Marty two perfect children, a girl and a boy. She’d fought the good fight of faith, and she’d won. Marty was 37 years old, and ready to enjoy the children God had given her. John, in total agreement with her, took permanent steps to prevent further conception. What neither of them realized was the power and momentum their faith had generated. Stopping it was like trying to stop a speeding locomotive. Eleven months later, Marty Copeland was pregnant again. “Oh…” she whispered as she realized that not only did the fulfillment of God’s destiny involve a son, His plan for the next generation included a third child. Nine months and more than 540 heparin shots later, Marty gave birth to a daughter, Alexandria Nicole on February 14, 2002. “The war being waged against believers having the children God has promised us in our covenant is every bit as real as the ongoing war of terror,” Marty explained. “Satan is the terrorist who is trying desperately to destroy your children before they’re even born. If you find yourself in this life and death struggle, be proactive. Do everything you know to do spiritually, and everything God leads you to do in the natural. Don’t let the enemy win! “As we love our children, we expand our understanding of how very much God loves us.” Our children are covenant blessings. They are our heritage. We must love them and train them in the admonition of the Lord—we must fight for life and we must fight victoriously— not just for ourselves but for our future. V ICTOR Y

MEDITATION This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. ( Joshua 1:8)
Meditating on the Word of God. It was an essential element of success in Joshua’s day. It still is. Unfortunately, today, most people don’t know it. Oh yes, we read the Word of God. We listen to preachers preach it. We get together and discuss it. But meditate on it? No. Most of us don’t have any idea how to do that. Nor do we realize that we’re shortcircuiting God’s formula for success and consigning ourselves to failure by doing without it. The truth is, meditation isn’t nearly as mysterious as most believers think it is. Scriptural meditation simply means thinking about and reflecting on the Word. It means pondering a particular scripture and mentally applying it to our own circumstances again and again until that scripture permanently marks our consciousness. Meditation is important because it can affect our lives in a way that almost nothing else can. It can, quite literally, alter our minds. Take a look at the story

of Abraham and I think you’ll see what I mean. When God first told Abraham (or Abram as he was called then) he was going to have a son, Abram was an old man. His wife Sarai had been barren all her life and not only that, she was old and well past the age of childbearing. An aging, childless couple—that’s how Abram and Sarai saw themselves. They’d given up any hope. In fact, they’d already made plans for their servant Eliezer of Damascus to be their heir. So when the Lord spoke to Abram and told him He was going to give him and Sarai a child, Abram couldn’t imagine such a thing. It contradicted his mindset. Knowing the mental struggle Abram would have, God didn’t just make him a verbal promise and leave it at that. He did something else. Genesis 15:5 tells us: “And [God] brought [Abram] forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him,

They called her “General” at a time when few women were recognized as leaders. Evangeline Cory Booth, seventh child of William and Catherine Booth, was born in England on Christmas Day, 1865. That same year, her parents founded a ministry to bring salvation and God’s love to the poor, unwanted masses of England. Little did they know that what began as tent meetings in a London slum graveyard would one day become a worldwide ministry known as the Salvation Army. By meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of society’s rejects, the Booths saw many people saved. They then trained these converts to reach out and serve others. William, the leader of the organization, was its first “General.” His wife, Catherine, also a passionate preacher, played an equally important role in their ministry. They raised up an army of believers who began marching to surrounding cities and proclaiming the gospel wherever people gathered. By departing from traditional methods, these street evangelists drew the disapproval of some church leaders, and violent confrontations with others. However, they refused to be deterred by angry pastors, tavern owners and gangs who often pelted them with insults, rocks and garbage. At age 83, William Booth gave his last public address. It summed up his zeal and passion to see the gospel preached: While women weep as they do now, I’ll fight; while little children go hungry as they do now, I’ll fight; while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I’ll fight; while there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl on the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I’ll fight— I’ll fight to the very end. —May 9, 1912

Like Father, Like Daughter Her parents’ example shaped little Evangeline’s remarkable life. From a young age she played music and sang in her father’s meetings. At 15, she was preaching on street corners. By age 17, Evangeline was placed in a position of leadership. Leaving the comfort and safety of her home, she put on rags and immersed herself in the world of the flower girls at Piccadilly Circus. Evangeline brought hope, help and salvation to these forgotten poor and became known as the “white angel of the slums.” Hers was a life characterized by loving and giving a “cup of cold water” to those in need that would eventually extend across the ocean to America. The Salvation Army was established in America in 1879 when a 17-year-old recruit named Eliza Shirley immigrated with her family. In 1880, other Salvationists followed. In spite of opposition that sparked violence, arrests and even deaths, the Army expanded into several states, with the Booths’ son Ballington soon leading the American division. During this time, Evangeline Booth emerged as a powerful leader and speaker giving dramatic presentations about the Army’s work. Her father sent her to America in 1896 to temporarily take command after her brother’s departure. After her arrival in the United States, she expanded the work into Canada. In 1904, Evangeline Booth became the National Commander of the Salvation Army in America. The organization flourished under her innovative leadership for 30 years. Evangeline’s method of organized fundraising brought in millions of dollars which enabled great expansion. Among other things, she
Evangeline Cory Booth
pioneered outreaches to prisoners and the unemployed, established hospitals for unwed mothers, homes for the elderly, and “Evangeline Residences” for working women. Although she never married, she adopted and raised four children. Simply stated, if Evangeline Booth saw a need, she endeavored to meet it. In 1906, after the San Francisco earthquake and fire, disaster relief became a vital part of the Salvation Army’s focus. As America entered World War I, Evangeline Booth offered the Salvation Army’s services to President Woodrow Wilson. She created a War Board and programs to provide soldiers with items such as sweaters and socks. The SA was a forerunner of the USO, setting up canteens and hostels at many U.S. military camps. Miss Booth borrowed $25,000 to extend the work overseas. Dedicated workers provided troops with refreshments, church services, concerts and more. Muddy, homesick soldiers on the front lines of France delighted in receiving fresh doughnuts and coffee prepared by smiling Salvation Army “lassies.” Evangeline Booth was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal for wartime work.
JULY4-9 2005
In 1934, she was elected General of the worldwide Salvation Army. In conjunction with this event she wrote the following hymn and said, “I wrote it at three o’clock in the morning, bowed under the immeasurable burden of the stupendous responsibilities of the call that had come to me on being elected General of the International Salvation Army.” “The World for God” The world for God! The world for God! There’s nothing else will meet the hunger of my soul. I see forsaken children, I see the tears that fall From women’s eyes once merry, now never laugh at all; I see the sins and sorrows of those who sit in darkness; I see in lands far distant, the hungry and oppressed. But behold! On a hill, Calvary! Calvary! The words of her song were the cry of her heart. She purposed to touch the world for God…and did. Today, the Salvation Army once led by General Evangeline Booth serves in more than 100 countries throughout the world. Both were truly born to serve. V ICTOR Y

The blessings you receive—both material and otherwise—give God glory. That’s right. Your increase and promotion actually glorify God! , I remember when my wife Phyllis
and I heard this for the first time. It seemed too good to be true. We’d always heard that “truly holy people” were poor because poverty and holiness go hand in hand. We’d been taught that being fully consecrated to God meant being poor—completely poor. , We weren’t alone in this belief. Millions of people believe this way even though it’s not biblical. Just look at what Ecclesiastes 5:19 says in regard to riches and wealth, “Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.” , Having riches and wealth is not contradictory to living for God. It isn’t against His will for our lives. In fact, this scripture shows us that He has given us wealth—and when the Lord gives us wealth, we can enjoy it. It glorifies Him! SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS Jesus was dedicated to glorifying God. John 17:4 says, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” Bringing glory to God is what we are called to do. , Jesus was also dedicated to destroying the devil’s works. First John 3:8 says, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” , Jesus came to glorify God and destroy the devil’s works.

One way to destroy the devil’s works is to refuse to focus on them—refuse to “advertise” for him. Instead, talk about all the good things that God has done. If people see how God has blessed us, they’ll begin to understand that He will do it for them too. It’ll open their spirits to the truth of His goodness and they’ll be drawn to Him. God is good, and He is not stingy. When blessing us, He operates in abundance. Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” ( John 10:10). The word abundance means “more than enough.” God is the One who blesses us abundantly. He is the One “that giveth the increase” (1 Corinthians 3:6). It’s time that we, as His people, truly understand He is the net-breaking, ship-sinking, twelve-baskets-left-over, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, cup-running-over, too much God! He’s the God of increase and abundance. And guess what? Abundance glorifies Him! Questionable Means | Keep in mind, the way you acquire something is more important than what you acquire. The Bible mentions unrighteous mammon and f ilthy lucre which some translations of the Bible refer to as riches or wealth received by questionable means. For instance, what would you think if a preacher took up an offering for an orphanage but spent it on a sports car instead? You would rightly think that was wrong! On the other hand, if a preacher sowed seed and believed God for a sports car and the Lord provided the money in an honest way, or someone gave him a sports car—that car would be a gift from the Lord. Right? There was nothing underhanded. There was only a man standing in faith and believing for God to provide a sports car. God would get the glory for blessing that preacher. What you have isn’t the issue, it’s how you get it and who is glorified. Abraham understood that. In Genesis 14 when God delivered Abraham’s family, the king of Sodom wanted to give Abraham some resources. But in verse 23 Abraham said, “That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.” Abraham knew he had a covenant with God and understood he was supposed to be rich. However, he knew the king’s way wasn’t the right way. Had he accepted the king’s offer, the king would have received
the glory for making him wealthy. That wouldn’t have been right. Abraham knew the riches he received needed to glorify God. Jesus Is the Good Shepherd | God receives glory when He prospers us. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and we are His sheep. Our condition is a reflection of our Shepherd. To get a picture of how important it is to God that we prosper, I want you to imagine that you live in a part of the world where shepherds care for their sheep like they did in biblical times. Imagine that you grew up hearing many wonderful stories about a “good shepherd.” One day you

find out this good shepherd is visiting your village. You run to get a glimpse of him coming down the path. There he is. Wow—how noble he looks, you think. His garments are beautiful. Look at that ornamental staff and how regally he walks! Then you notice his flock following close behind. They’re a pitiful sight…their ribs are sticking out and their wool is matted. Toward the back of the herd you see one sheep dragging its leg. It looks as if it’s been broken for some time and has never been treated. The entire flock is in terrible shape. Would you still consider this man to be a good shepherd? No. You’d say, “I don’t care what anybody says—he can’t be a good shepherd. Just look at his flock!” The devil, in all his craftiness, has endeavored to convince people that God is like this bad shepherd—that following Him means living like this flock. Sadly, he’s been successful. For centuries, because of unbelief, God’s flock has been in a miserable condition. The Church doesn’t understand why many people aren’t interested in Christianity. But it’s no mystery when God’s people believe that Jesus, their Shepherd, is trying to teach them something through their poverty, or by their houses being blown down by tornadoes, or the cancer in their bodies. Why would anyone want to follow a shepherd who allows his flock to live like that? Stealing, killing and destroying in no way gives glory to our Lord Jesus. But when the flock is blessed, the Good Shepherd is glorified. When other businesses are failing but yours is increasing—God is glorified. When your children are healthy while others’ struggle with sickness all winter—God is glorified. When you live with this kind of abundance, people will ask, “Man, how do you do it?” That’s when you can say, “If you think I’m something, you ought to meet my Master. I’ve got a Good Shepherd who takes good care of me. He keeps my family from sickness. He keeps us from economic problems. He just keeps increasing us and by the way, He’s still taking applications for His flock.” People want to serve a God like that! The goodness of God is what leads people to repent and come to Him. It’s the goodness of God that brings change.

Lord, Be Glorified | His goodness certainly includes material wealth. Haggai 2:7 says, “And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.” When this scripture says “fill this house with glory,” it includes material wealth. Don’t limit your financial prosperity to only what you earn at your job. God has so many avenues, so many ways to get wealth and riches to you if you’ll only believe in Him to do it. He so wants to bless us. Romans 9:23 says, “And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory.” “Vessels of mercy” who have been “prepared unto glory”— that’s us! We are those who are destined to know “the riches of His glory.” Begin to get this truth into your spirit. Acknowledge that God is the God of increase. Understand that He wants to bring abundance to your family, your home and your business. Believe that the Lord will be glorified through your finances. Then stand in faith for those around you, believing that they will see God’s goodness in your life and be drawn to Him because of it. As you do, God will be glorified. If you want to glorify the Lord in your finances and other material areas then pray this prayer with me: Lord, I pray that You will be glorif ied in my f inances. In fact, Lord, I pray that You will be glorif ied in every material area of my life. Bring me into Your abundance in such a way that when people see or hear it, they’ll give glory to You. I stand in faith for this to be manifest in my life and thank You for it. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Remember—when the flock is blessed, the Good Shepherd is glorified! V ICTOR Y

Family Completed Five years ago my husband and I flew to Russia and adopted 6-yearold twins. Months later we learned from them that their older brother and sister were still in Russia. We knew in our hearts God wanted us to adopt them too. It took a year for the adoption agency to locate them, and then Kolia and Katya said they did not want to be adopted and live in America. In spite of the disappointment, we continued to pray and believe God for a way to reunite the children. The BVOV magazine encouraged us to stand in faith for our family even when it looked impossible. We flew to Russia with our twins to meet their older siblings. The reunion was a joy to behold! We learned Kolia and Katya had refused to be adopted because they’d heard that America was an island with much child slavery. Although we assured them that wasn’t true, it was another year before they wrote and asked us to accept them into our family and be their new parents. Kolia was then 17. We had to act quickly as he would go into the Russian army at 18. Within a few months, with the financial support of church members, we raised the money we needed. The adoptions went smoothly and we returned to America just in time to celebrate Kolia’s 18th birthday. We are very blessed to have all four siblings together— our family is complete. Praying With Authority Tuesday, July 2, 2002, my son Josh fell through a roof while working and landed on the concrete 25 feet below, on his forehead. As he fell he also struck a support beam, shattering his spleen. As soon as I heard, I called my husband and then I called KCM for prayer. I remember the man prayed with a strong voice and with authority. When he finished, I said, “I agree in Jesus’ Name” and a great peace came over me. Josh’s forehead was crushed so he was kept in a coma to heal. The peace of God sustained us as we reached out to Jesus. Miraculously Josh was released from the hospital July 19. He was walking and talking and had no brain damage or memory loss except for his fall! November 1, he was working full time at his construction job with no restrictions. Josh is now married and has a beautiful son, Caleb, our first grandchild. What the enemy intended for evil, God has turned around and we even have increase!

Inmate Receives Faith for the Future I had been into witchcraft and wouldn’t listen to those who told me I was going to hell. But this morning I decided to go to chapel and the minister handed out the BVOV magazine. I took it and throughout the day kept picking it up. I’d flip through it and read a paragraph here and there. When I came to the article “Live Long—Live Strong” by Gloria Copeland, I sensed a strong pulling at my spirit, but I brushed it off. Then I read “Faith for the Future,” and realized God was real and He was asking me to step into His family. That tugging was Christ knocking at the door of my heart. I knelt beside my bunk and prayed. After I got up I felt like a 10-ton boulder had been lifted off me. I knew I had been forgiven and given a second chance! I believe the Lord wants to use me to bring others to Him like He used you to bring me to Him. D.S. | Florida

From Persecution to Peace Thank you, KCM, for praying for us. The sea came into our home and church which are right by the ocean in Sri Lanka. Sunday service was just over—most people had left. A few stayed back for a choir practice. When the waters came as a flood we screamed out, “In the Name of Jesus—peace, be still!” Waters receded immediately from our territory but engulfed all our neighbors’ houses—they lost everything. We swam out and brought all into our house and church. People who had persecuted us for over 10 years began pleading with us to pray to our Jesus. Praise be to His glorious Name! There’s much work to be done—please pray for more labourers. Much love to all, may God be in all of us. Amen. G.B. | Sri Lanka
Righteousness Is the Key
i
Imagine someone handing you a stick of dynamite and you had no earthly idea what it was. You had never seen dynamite. You’d never even heard of it. That’s a dangerous situation.
Why? Because you have no concept of what you’re dealing with. And without any real concept of dynamite—what it is, what it can do—you’re likely to go around banging on things with it...and that would be the last time you made that mistake. That’s also the way it is in our spiritual lives.
As born-again children of God, we are walking powder kegs of pure Holy Ghost TNT. Oh, we dabble around in spiritual things now and then. But, for the most part, we have no clue what we’re doing. We have no concept of the power we handle. What we need is understanding. We need to get in touch with the reality of how God’s kingdom operates—and what that means in our everyday lives. WHAT WOULD JOHN WAYNE DO? | During the first 18 months of our ministry, Gloria and I came across a handful of spiritual principles that redirected the course of our lives. They were basic biblical principles that literally changed the way we thought up to that point. Of those principles, however, there was one in particular that caused the most radical change. It was the reality of righteousness. Righteousness is a key—if not the key—to the New Testament as well as to life itself. And like dynamite, righteousness carries within itself a force like no other. Yet I dare say most believers never tap into the force of righteousness during their Christian lifetime. That’s because righteousness has been so religiousized over the years that church people no longer have any real concept of it. Consequently, righteousness has no dynamic impact in their lives.
by Kenneth Copeland
Righteousness the is a key—if not
key—
to life itself.
To find a good working definition of righteousness, we can simply refer to any “bill of rights.” In America, for instance, we call the first 10 amendments to the Constitution of the United States our “Bill of Rights.” Those 10 amendments guarantee certain rights to us as American citizens. In fact, you will often hear an American protest something by saying: “I have a right to do this!” or “I have a right to that!” By saying that, we are appealing to what is right and basing our appeal on the highest law in the land. So righteousness simply means “rightness.” It is “the state of being right.” It is also “the act of doing what is right” which is where it so closely ties into the idea of honor. Righteousness and honor are closely related because someone who is honorable is someone who chooses to do the right thing—in any situation. John Wayne—one of America’s longtime heroes on the silver screen—was a perfect example. Here was a movie actor who, on and off camera, spent his entire career developing the concept of honor. And he accomplished his goal. There came a time in his career where it no longer mattered what role or what character John Wayne played. It didn’t matter what the setting was or what situations he faced in the script. The audience always knew he was going to do the right thing and he’d do it at any cost. John Wayne’s characters were always honorable because they always did what was right. It Pays to Be Right | As I mentioned earlier, there is a power and a force behind this concept of righteousness. Isaiah 32:17 tells us the “work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.” In other words right—or doing what is righteous— has power. It has the power to work peace, quietness and assurance in your life. Notice the word peace in this verse. The Hebrew word for peace can be translated as “fullness, wholeness, completeness, prosperity.” Its literal definition is “nothing missing, nothing broken.” So this verse is telling us: “The work of righteousness shall be [fullness, wholeness, completeness and prosperity with nothing missing and nothing broken]; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.” That’s a mouthful of covenant promises, but it’s all for any person who chooses to do the right thing. That makes me think of Joseph and how he always chose to
do what was right and honorable even in situations in which there could have been opportunity for fear to take over. And because he always did what was right, no matter how terrible the situation, he always came out prospering (see Genesis 37, 39, 40 and 41). One time in Joseph’s life when he could have felt abandoned by God was when he was sold into slavery by his brothers who were jealous of him. But Joseph ended up as overseer of Potiphar’s household and business affairs. And Potiphar just happened to be one of Pharaoh’s chief military officers. As you can imagine, Potiphar was already doing quite well financially. But the Bible points out that the blessing on Joseph—which was righteousness doing its work—actually caused Potiphar’s household to prosper even more. And Potiphar knew it. Then the course of events in Joseph’s life took another sour turn and he ended up in prison for something he didn’t do. In fact he was actually thrown in jail for choosing to do the honorable and right thing where Potiphar’s wife was concerned. She had tried to seduce Joseph, but he refused her. She then told lies about him, which landed him in jail. Again, Joseph could have given up and let fear take over, but the circumstances did not keep him down because his righteousness—his acts of rightness—was constantly doing its work, accomplishing peace on his behalf. Even in jail Joseph was highly favored and he prospered. In the end, Joseph became Pharaoh’s right-hand man. He was second only to Pharaoh throughout all of Egypt. He went from being a slave in prison to Egypt’s man of the hour, all because of the work of righteousness in his life. Even in the most unlikely of circumstances, the force of righteousness was constantly going before Joseph, straightening out problems, giving him peace and causing him to prosper. Can’t Stand Being Right? | Notice also that Isaiah 32:17 says one of the effects of righteousness is assurance. Assurance, or confidence, can only come from knowing that you are righteous. It comes from knowing you have the God-given ability to stand in the presence of your heavenly Father totally and completely at peace and fear free—without a sense of guilt, condemnation or inferiority. You can stand in the presence of a Holy God as though sin never existed in your life. But righteousness is also your ability to stand in the face of Satan without fear and boldly resist him, expecting him to M A Y

flee. Righteousness always turns the table on the devil, which is why he could never keep Joseph down. Now if the thought of that kind of boldness before God and that kind of boldness before the devil makes you a little uneasy, realize that I’m not talking about our own developed goodness or holiness here. Our good deeds and failed attempts at trying to clean ourselves up is as “filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). But God says, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not” (1 Corinthians 15:34). In other words, God’s way of changing us is to make us righteous on the inside and allow that righteousness to absorb us and all our “stuff ”—all our burdens and shortcomings in life. That only happens, however, as we become skillful “in the word of righteousness” (Hebrews 5:13). No, we’ve never committed any righteousness. On the other hand, Jesus never committed any sin. Yet He was made sin with our sin. In turn, we were made righteous with His righteousness. We were made the righteousness of God the moment we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior (2 Corinthians 5:21). So every person who has ever made Jesus the Lord of their life has exactly the same righteous standing with God. God is righteous and He is no respecter of persons.
Right —or
doing what is righteous—has power.
What’s more, if God demands that every person accept the sacrifice of Jesus—the shedding of Jesus’ blood for the remission of their sin—then when someone accepts that sacrifice, God must accept that person as though sin never existed in their life. Once believers really get a concept of that, we begin to realize that righteousness is not something we have. It’s something we are. It’s what we have become. Shhh...Righteousness at Work | One final “effect of righteousness” that we’ll examine from Isaiah 32:17 is its quietness. Take a moment and think back over the past year, or even just the past four weeks, and add up all the time you spent being upset, frustrated or worried. And all because you didn’t know what you were going to do in certain situations. How many times did you lay in bed at night thinking: What am I going to do about this? What am I going to do about that? Had you simply known what to do in those situations, you would not have wasted time being upset. Well, imagine how many opportunities Jesus had in just three years of public ministry to worry and fret. Yet He didn’t. Because He knew exactly what He was supposed to do in every situation. He knew to do the right thing, and then let righteousness do its work.

Remember when Jesus told His disciples to go to a specific place where they would find a young colt to bring back to Him so He could ride it into Jerusalem? (Matthew 21:1-3). How did He know all that—even down to the fact that it had never been ridden before? God told Him. But remember too that God is righteous. Jesus was depending on God being right in this situation, just as He had depended on God’s rightness in every situation up to that time. That’s why Jesus also told His disciples, “I only say what My Father says, and I do what I see My Father do.” He knew God was always right. So God told Jesus about the donkey, and the disciples found everything to be just as Jesus told them. Now if you know anything about young donkeys that have never been ridden before, you know it’s almost impossible to ride one that’s never been broken. But I guarantee you it wasn’t like that for Jesus. They brought that little colt to Jesus. Jesus got on it. And the work of righteousness, which is peace, and the effect of righteousness, which is quietness, came on the young donkey that day, and he trotted down to Jerusalem just as nice as you
please with Jesus on his back. “Yeah, but that was Jesus!” No. That was the righteousness of God in and on Jesus, just as it is in and on every believer at this very moment. The difference is faith in that righteousness. The same thing happened before Jesus’ crucifixion when He sent His disciples to find the right room in which to celebrate the Passover feast. Jesus didn’t toss and turn in bed the night before wondering, What are we going to do about a room for tomorrow night? How are we going to pay for dinner and a room for all of us? No. The righteousness of God in Jesus was moving out in front of Him providing for Him all the time. And because of that, Jesus could then walk in total assurance and quietness about it all. My friend, that’s where you and I can live today. All we have to do is press in to—and become conscious of— the reality of the righteousness God birthed in us the moment we received Jesus as Lord. As that righteousness consciousness grows and develops within us, it will eventually become bigger and more powerful than all the problems that surround us. Yes, there is a force to righteousness—a force that will go before you and change your circumstances, keeping you fear free and at peace, giving you quietness, assurance and prosperity...forever.
