PUT

ON THE

ARMOR

OF

THERE IS A PLACE OF PROTECTION IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND IN HIS ANOINTING WHERE THE DEVIL CANNOT GET TO YOU. AND I’M NOT TALKING ABOUT AFTER YOU GO TO HEAVEN, BUT RIGHT HERE ON THIS EARTH. The Apostle Paul tells us about this in Romans 13:11-12. He says: “It is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” Notice that Paul thought it was very important for us to put on this protection— he said this in no uncertain terms: “Wake up! Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” Just as Paul wrote, it is also high time for our generation to cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Armor is something that covers not just one side like a shield, but rather it’s a

full suit of protection that covers the front, back, sides and top. When we have on this armor, we are completely covered. However, in far too many cases believers are finding themselves subject to the works of darkness. They are suffering from the same demonic attacks as unbelievers— they are getting sick, their marriages are being ravaged by divorce, they are being injured in accidents, and they are walking in fear like everyone else. Sad to say, these kinds of things are happening to some Christians even though they are confessing the promises of God’s protection! How can that be? How is it that the enemy can get through a believer’s line of protection?

How can that be? How is it that the enemy can get through a believer’s line of protection?

IT CAN HAPPEN IF A PERSON IS VIOLATING a higher law THAN THE PROMISES HE OR SHE IS CONFESSING. It can happen if a person is violating a higher law than darkness. John, the apostle of love, said it this way: the promises he or she is confessing. And Paul tells us exactly what that violation is in the But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we verses preceding what we just read: “For this, Thou shalt have fellowship one with another, and the blood of not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in (Romans 13:9-10). us (1 John 1:7-10). Love, when it is exercised and allowed to be perfected in our lives, flushes out fear (1 John 4:18). But if we violate Here we are given the key to the declaration the the love commandment, the enemy will quickly run around Apostle Paul made in Romans 6:14: “Sin shall not have our confessions of protection. He can even kill us. How? dominion over you.” We walk in dominion over sin the When we violate that commandment, fear enters in and same way Jesus did. “If ye keep my commandments, ye the light withdraws. When the light withdraws, we are shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s without our armor—we are spiritually naked. commandments, and abide in his love” ( John 15:10). To violate the love command is to go against our true Jesus satisfied the whole law and never sinned. He took reborn nature and authority. That is why 2 Corinthians 4:6 the hundreds, even thousands of commandments and is so thrilling to the believer: “For God, who commanded boiled them down to two: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our Sloppy love won’t cut it here. John walked in this armor, and according to church tradition, the Roman government could not kill the “apostle of love.” They boiled him in oil but he just wouldn’t die. He was in the armor of light. Neither could they kill the Apostle Paul, author of 1 Corinthians 13 the “love chapter.” Remember he’s also the guy who wrote about the Hebrews who “were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection” (Hebrews 11:35). Clothed in the armor of light, Paul willingly offered up his own life for a better resurrection (2 Timothy 4:6-8). In that armor, Jesus was taken to the brow of a hill by an angry crowd in His own hometown. They were threatening to push Him over the side of the cliff. The next thing we know, He “passing through the midst of them went his way” (Luke 4:29-30). Can’t you just see that crowd scratching their heads and asking: “Where did he go? Where did he go?” On another occasion, “Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by” ( John 8:59). It’s Still Working Today

David Wilkerson, among other things, is the founder of Teen Challenge. He ministered to drug addicts and gang members in Bedford-Stuyvesant near Brooklyn back in the 1960s when it was one of the meanest places on earth. One teenage gang member Nicky Cruz took out his switchblade and said, “I am going to kill you now.” “I’ll tell you right now,” Dave said, “if you cut me into a thousand pieces, all the pieces of me laying here on this sidewalk will be crying out to God, ‘I love Nicky. I love you, Nicky. I love you, Nicky. Jesus loves you.’” Nicky told me he was furious and tried to swing his knife, but as he did, “Something grabbed me by the arm and I couldn’t stick him,” he said. “I tried and tried and I tried, but I couldn’t touch him.” David Wilkerson had taken his place in love, in the marvelous light, and he looked death in the face with no fear—the enemy couldn’t touch him. First Peter 2:9 says: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.”

Think about what it means to be in His marvelous light. Marvelous means it causes people to marvel. The manifestation of His marvelous light is an obvious and awesome display of God’s glory: “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23; Mark 12:11). To the unbeliever such an occurrence would be a sign and a wonder. To the believer, it would be a miracle. No doubt to David Wilkerson what happened was a miracle. And to Nicky, his assailant, it was a wonder that caused him to give his life to Jesus! The Wicked One Touches Him Not

First John 5:18 gives us key information about staying in the light, in that place of protection. It says: “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” No, he’s not talking about human perfection. He’s talking about keeping ourselves in the love walk, keeping ourselves in the light. If you do sin, don’t run from God, run to Him. Confess that sin immediately. Get right back in the light. Nobody can lay hands on you and just pray over you to get this done. You have to keep yourself in the love of God. You have to keep yourself over in the area of repentance. No one else can turn that light on for you. No one else can say for you, “Let there

be light.” You have to keep yourself in it. As you obey the commandment to love your Father and your neighbor, remember also to build yourself up in the fact that you are born of Love, and He loves you. Lay hold of the confession of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:16 that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you in your inner man. Confess that you will be “rooted and grounded in love” and made “able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God” (verses 17-19). This is intimate, working knowledge of the very words Love Himself has said. We can put those words into our mouths knowing Jesus as the High Priest over them will see that they come to pass. This is the power that has been restored to the born-again man. And when that power, when that Light, is working in the place and at the level it’s supposed to be, when we lay hands on the sick, they’ll recover. When we lay hands on the dead, they’ll rise up. The devil cannot stand against believers who walk in the Light like that. He can’t touch us in that armor. He has only one assignment in the presence of that Light—he must flee. The armor of Light drives him out wherever we go. That’s his destiny. And clothed in the armor of Light, we are the enforcers. V ICTOR Y

Are Your Child’s Textbooks

Historically Correct?

During the 150 years that American textbooks described the founding fathers as devout Christian men who actively practiced their faith, civic policy embraced and welcomed public religious expressions. But in recent years as the same founders have come to be portrayed as atheists, agnostics and deists who were opposed to religious activities, public policies have similarly been reversed. This is the result of revisionism, which attempts to alter the way a people views its history and traditions in order to cause that people to accept a change in public policy.

The dictionary defines revisionism as an “advocacy of the revision of an accepted, usually long-standing view, theory or doctrine; especially a revision of historical events and movements.” Revisionists generally accomplish their goal by: • Underemphasizing or ignoring aspects of American history they deem politically incorrect and overemphasizing what they find acceptable • Vilifying historical figures who embraced a position they reject • Concocting the appearance of widespread historical approval for the social policy they are attempting to advance How is this done? By publishing patent untruths, making overly broad generalizations, omitting statements and facts, and not referencing primary sources to substantiate the material. | This approach usually relies on a general lack of public knowledge about an untruth. For

Patent Untruths

instance numerous history texts make claims such as: our “national government was secular from top to bottom,” or that the founders “reared a national government on a secular basis.” This is a patent untruth—proved by numbers of founders, including John Adams, who declared: “The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity.” (Even the text of the Declaration of Independence refutes any charges of government secularism.) | This technique presents the exception as if it were the rule. For example, texts often name Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Paine as proof of the lack of religiosity among the founders, yet fail to mention the rest of the almost 200 founding fathers—including dozens who not only received their education in schools specializing in the training of ministers of the gospel, but who also were active in Christian ministry and organizations (e.g., John Hancock, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Benjamin Rush, Roger Sherman, et al.).

Overly Broad Generalizations

by David Barton

Similarly when discussing religion in America, the Salem witch trials are universally presented. But rarely mentioned are the positive societal changes produced by Quakers, Baptists, Presbyterians and dozens of other religious groups that worked for the abolition of slavery, secured religious freedoms for all, and fought to end societal abuses of all types. Omitted segments indicate the strongly religious nature of American government documents and leaders. Presently the following facts are being omitted from textbooks: • That gratitude to God was central to the first Pilgrim Thanksgiving • The Congress of the United States was responsible for America's first English-language Bible in 1782 • Congress voted that on Sundays the Capitol building would serve as a church building. By 1867, the largest Protestant church in America was the one that met inside the U.S. Capitol, etc. The widely used text The Godless Constitution blatantly announces in its afterword that it has “dispensed with the usual scholarly apparatus of footnotes.” Similarly, The Search for Christian America purports to examine the founding era and finds a Lack of Primary Source References

distinct lack of Christian influence. Yet 80 percent of the “historical sources” on which it relies were published after 1950! This is an example of a lack of primary references. | To locate revisionism in a text, look at its tone, the documents it presents and the heroes it elevates. 1. Find answers to these questions in the text: Is exploration and colonization motivated only by the desire for land or gold? Are those who promoted religious and moral values portrayed as harsh, punitive and intolerant? Is traditional family ignored? Is government presented as taking care of society’s needs (rather than individuals, families, churches or communities)? Is there a victim ideology—featuring those who have been exploited throughout history rather than those who have uplifted their culture? Are other religions portrayed positively and Christianity negatively (if at all)? 2. Are original documents presented? (Do students see the actual text or only what someone else says about it?) Are the documents heavily edited to present only a sentence or two, or do they provide a substantive amount of text? 3. Who are the heroes presented? Do they tend to be fighting an unjust society or government? Are they modern heroes or secular leaders only? For example, the U.S. Capitol displays some 100 statues of the most important individuals in America’s history. A significant percentage are of ministers and Christian leaders. Will your children receive in their textbooks the same view of American heroes that is presented in America’s preeminent government building? Examine each text as if you knew nothing at all about history except what is being presented. On that basis, decide whether or not you will be pleased with the tone toward America that is being instilled in your child through that text. If not, then urge your school to get a better text, and/ or supplement for your child what is missing or wrongly presented in the text. America’s future rests on what our children are taught, for as Abraham Lincoln wisely observed, “The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.” Noah Webster therefore rightly admonished: “The education of youth should be watched with the most scrupulous attention…. [It] lays the foundations on which both law and gospel rest for success.” Indeed! It’s time to get involved in making sure our children are being taught the truth about America’s heritage. Hitting the Trail Glenn Smith, founder of International Western World

Outreach Center, believes God began a revival on the professional rodeo circuit in 1972 when he began traveling to rodeos, holding church services and making himself available to cowboys for spiritual help.

!

Glenn, a Partner with Kenneth Copeland Ministries for nearly 30 years,

said Kenneth Copeland and his Partners from the beginning have played a large part in helping bring about this country western revival by supplying all the teaching tapes he could use.

“I would give these guys tapes and a tape player. Then they would get together and switch tapes,” Glenn said. Many people were saved as a result. “Cowboy churches” began springing up in barns and rodeo facilities worldwide, ministering to people who wouldn’t go to church but would come listen to a cowboy in Levi’s, boots and a hat. Now with more than 300 “western ministries” across the United States reaching out to farmers, ranchers, rodeo workers and others connected to agriculture, there is a need for ministers. To meet this need, Glenn started the School of Western Ministries to train men and women to minister at rodeos, farms, ranches, stock shows and any other type of agricultural or western event. “We believe the coming of Jesus Christ is mighty close,” Glenn said. “We know there are farmers who have never truly heard the gospel. Western people aren’t going to drop everything, put on a suit and run to church to hear a sermon when they’re busy harvesting their crops. But they will come to a barn where a farmer has moved his tractor out and women have made cakes and sandwiches to share. They’ll come to a meeting where music they enjoy is being played. They’ll relate to a minister who is dressed like they are. They’ll listen to someone who teaches the Bible using plain, understandable language rather than more complicated religious terminology.” The third annual School of Western Ministries will begin in January 2006. From seasoned ministers experiienced in fivefold ministry, new students will hear the

heart and call of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher, and those gifted in the areas of helps, children’s ministry, music and administration. In addition, comprehensive hands-on training is provided for the students by the 2004 and 2005 graduates of the school who are fanned out and ministering the gospel around the world. Further opportunities for hands-on training are made available through local jail outreach and local churches. Students will receive instruction on: • Contacting and communicating effectively with rodeo and other western event committees • Planning evangelistic outreaches • Planting churches • Preparing newsletters and other printed material • Performing baptisms, weddings and funerals, and administering Communion • Establishing and maintaining a ministry according to IRS regulations Beginning January 16, 2006, classes will be conducted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Midland, Texas. She found another promise in Psalm 128:3, “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants round about your table” (The Amplif ied Bible). Sure of the promises of God, Todd and Bonnie released their faith as they prayed for children. A fertility specialist nonchalantly told them, “If you get pregnant you’ll probably lose the first baby.” Each word was a blow to Bonnie’s heart. Weeks later, she attended a service where Keith and Phyllis Moore prayed for her healing. Soon after, Bonnie Hagemann was pregnant. “We were ecstatic,” Bonnie recalls. “I’ll never forget the day I got to see my baby’s heartbeat flashing on a monitor!” It seemed that Todd and Bonnie Hagemann’s hopes were about to be fulfilled.

Faith in the Face of Loss | Three

months later, a checkup cruelly shattered those hopes. “There’s no heartbeat,” the doctor said matter-of-factly. “We need to schedule a D and C.” Bonnie stumbled to her car, sobbing, and called Todd. Her next call was to Pastor Terri Pearsons. “I need a new doctor,” Bonnie said. “I want a doctor who is compassionate and caring.” Pastor Terri gave her the name of a strong Christian physician. The doctor spent an hour talking to her about her situation and God. After his exam he wrapped her in a hug and said, “I’m so sorry, but there is no heartbeat. I recommend a D and C, but you go home and pray. We’ll do whatever you decide.” After prayer, she and Todd agreed to the procedure, but the doctor was careful to keep their hope for children intact. After the surgery in December 1996, he said simply, “It’s the worst case I’ve ever seen and the best job I’ve ever done.”

Divine Intervention | Two months

later Todd and Bonnie were in a morning service at Eagle Mountain International Church. Suddenly, the anointing to heal fell heavily over the congregation and the praise team began to sing, “There’s a Healer in the House Today.” Church leaders lined the altar as

people filed by for prayer. One of the musicians ministered to Bonnie, “I speak to your womb and command it to open in the Name of Jesus!” he said. One week later Bonnie Hagemann was pregnant. Months later, none of the names they considered seemed to fit their daughter until Bonnie read the name Erin. “It means peace,” she told Todd. Peace. God had already used this little one to fill their lives with peace. It was the perfect name. In November 1997, Erin Rae Hagemann filled her parents’ waiting arms. Life in the Hagemann household was delicious and Erin fulfilled the promise of her name. OSU ball cap. Little did they realize that when God had drawn them to that little boy, He had an entirely different plan in mind. A full 23 hours after taking off from Dallas, they landed in Moscow. With only one hour to spare, the exhausted couple caught a flight from Moscow to a city near the Ural Mountains. “The adoption agency offered a package where you could hire a translator, driver and social worker to go with you in Russia,” Bonnie explains. “This made our trip so much easier than many of the prospective parents we met there.” The next morning, Todd and Bonnie met with a woman at the Ministry of Education who handed them a picture of a child. But it wasn’t Denis’ familiar face smiling up at them. This was a tiny boy with very little hair. Todd couldn’t resist asking, “What about Denis?” “Denis hasn’t been released by his mother for adoption, but Misha, his brother, is available.” The woman said, “I know you will love this child. It is impossible that you would not love this child.”

Decision Time

| It was bitterly cold the next morning when they were ushered into a drab, dreary three-story building surrounded by a metal fence. In the upstairs hallway they were introduced to Misha, an 18-month-old boy so small he wore tiny overalls that were a 12-month size. The moment he saw Todd and Bonnie, Misha turned and faced the wall. He refused to have anything to do with them. “We couldn’t even get a good look at him,” Bonnie says. “The toy we brought made noise and scared him. He wanted nothing to do with us!” Discouraged, the couple went back to their hotel. The following day they spent six hours with Misha. There were 70 children under the age of 3 in the orphanage. Most of the children Misha’s age, from 1 to 2 years old, fed themselves, partially dressed themselves and were potty trained. The 2- to 3-year-olds folded their own clothes. For six hours Todd and Bonnie tried to get Misha to warm up to them. He refused. By the end of the day they had to make a decision. Bonnie looked at Todd. “It’s up to you. I would take any one of them.” Todd struggled with the decision but finally said, “OK, let’s do it.”

A New Name

| When the Hagemanns told the officials they wanted to adopt Misha, they were asked his new name. “I had struggled to believe that God was willing for me to have more than one child,” Bonnie recalls. “Now I found myself on the way back to the city where we would adopt our son, reading names and their meanings to Todd as we drove. None of them seemed to fit until we found

the name Joel. It means ‘God is willing.’” Todd and Bonnie were to come back to court December 1. They flew 23 hours to be home for Erin’s birthday. Ten days later, they boarded another flight to Moscow. Surely this time Misha will recognize us and bond with us, Bonnie thought as the train bound for Glassov huffed its way across the miles.

Faith Fulf illed | They were required to visit Joel in the orphanage for four days before going to court. Again, he turned his face to the wall. He still would have nothing to do with them. When she tried to hold him and he cried, Bonnie wept as well. Todd and Bonnie were granted the adoption. That night on a dark street a car pulled up beside them. They saw their son in a box in the back seat. Moments later he was placed in Bonnie’s arms and the car drove away. “He was so undernourished that I bought lots of Russian baby food and started feeding him immediately,” Bonnie remembers. “The flight from Russia was exhausting. We traveled 24 hours and Joel only slept two. We met a woman on the flight who was a missionary in Russia. She wrote down the most important things we would need to communicate to him in Russian and taught us how to say them. To this day when Joel gets upset I speak to him in Russian and he calms down.” Today Joel Hagemann is a happy, loving child who has won the hearts of all who know him. He is clearly God’s perfect gift to Todd and Bonnie…and they are clearly God’s special gift to him. If the Lord had not drawn them so strongly to the picture of his brother, they undoubtedly would have overlooked this once silent, withdrawn toddler who turned his face toward the wall. Little Misha’s heart had been too wounded to reach out to them. So a loving heavenly Father bridged the gap. He reached out to them for him. Things have changed dramatically for Joel since then. Although he still knows how to do things for himself like he did at the orphanage, he no longer has any problem reaching out for his parents’ help. Recently he needed a diaper change so he climbed the stairs to his room and picked up a diaper, wipes and powder. At the top of the stairs he realized he couldn’t climb down with his hands full. He threw the wipes, powder and diaper down the stairs, climbed down, then took them to Bonnie with a beaming smile. These days, the Hagemann home is filled with the laughter of two beautiful children. Both of them are miracles. “What the woman at the Ministry of Education told us was the truth,” Bonnie explains. “It was impossible not to love this child.” victory

Then

in April the Copelands headed east from For t Wor th, traversing the Prime Meridian to hold four Victor y Campaigns in Europe: Brighton, England; Frankfur t, Germany; Belfast, Northern Ireland; and Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine.

In every city they visited, people hungry to hear God’s Word were overjoyed to be “We have a job to able to attend the meetings where Jesus’ lifedo. As they obeyed the Great Commission to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel” (Mark 16:15), thousands of people were saved, healed, delivered and set free. During the meetings Brother Copeland also delivered encouraging words of prophecy from the Lord for the cities and nations. Not only did the Copelands give the heart of Love Himself to people around the world, but they also received God’s love from the people in every city they visited. The meetings were tremendous! And Partners, we want you to realize the impact of the 2005 International Victory Campaigns because you are part of everything we do. Your prayers and financial support enable us to reach out to others around the world. So as you read these firsthand reports from KCM’s international directors, regional pastors and Partner ministries, you can rejoice knowing the seed you’ve sown is bringing in an overflowing harvest!

There were 4,000 to 6,000 people in attendance at each session. This meeting is very significant to our continued outreach in the region. Our thanks to local volunteers and churches who provided invaluable support for many months before the meetings. Sweeping Waves of Love | February 25—This is not just any place. This place has been marked by God for revival. This place has been marked by God for outpouring of the Holy Ghost. This place has been marked as a place of overflow concerning the miraculous manifestations of Jesus among men and women. It has already started. This is it.… This is what you’ve been praying about. On to Europe!

We were thrilled to have hundreds of our Partners join us in the three European Victory Campaigns. People in Europe are hungry for deep teaching from the Lord. Kenneth and Gloria ministered strongly in the Word, feeding and strengthening the hearts of the people and building up their faith. The meetings were so rich in the Word that people and churches are still living in the benefit of it, becoming stronger and more

victorious every day. Thanks to everyone who prepared for the meetings and to everyone who invested their prayers, time and finances! —Martin Hawkins, director, KCM Europe Brighton Victory Campaign

| April 7-9

Brighton, England There was such an air of excitement and expectancy at the Brighton Victory Campaign! Many people who attended had never been to a KCM meeting before. They eagerly received and responded to the Word. There was a strong anointing present for ministry and many people received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. One attendee summed up the meeting by saying, “A huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in the Brighton Victory Campaign. The meetings were such a blessing to us, coming just when we needed them. What a privilege to enjoy the sweet presence of the Lord, beautiful praise and worship, and the communication of the pure, uncompromised, powerful Word of God! It was awesome!”

We’re Here for You! by John Copeland

From the top of the world, to the bottom and all the way around, KCM is proclaiming that “Jesus is Lord” on every available voice—radio, television, meetings, print media, product distribution and the Internet.

|

Each and every day we’re

preaching the Word of faith to millions of people. For instance, Believer’s Voice of Victory is broadcast 2,412 hours a week worldwide, reaching a potential audience of more than 633 million people. The BVOV magazine mails to 560,000 Partners and Friends every month. Monthly more than 60,000 people are logging on to our Web site at www.kcm.org. And we have five international offices—Australia, Europe, Canada, South Africa and Ukraine—that are growing rapidly.

Each and every day, KCM receives testimonies about the victories people are experiencing as they learn how to walk in love and operate in faith. Worldwide, we are helping people become mature, victorious believers. And we are able to do that because of your support and prayers, Partners. In fact, you are a vital part of everything KCM does, so I want to share with you some upcoming outreach initiatives. I hope you’ll be as excited about our plans to reach the Spanish-speaking community as I am! There is a need and we want to meet it. According to the 2002 Census there were 37.4 million Hispanics in the civilian (not institutional) population of the United States. That means in 2002, 13.3 percent of the U.S. population was Hispanic. We desire to effectively minister to the fastest-growing segment of the population in the United States—Latinos. Not only that, the potential for reaching Spanish-speaking people is astounding when you take into consideration the population of Mexico, Central and South America. We’ve received reports that there is a huge revival occurring in these countries where Spanish is the primary language. Thousands of people are being swept into the kingdom of God. It is in our hearts to have the resources to help these new believers become grounded in the Word of God and learn to lead victorious lives. To meet this need, we are taking steps to duplicate everything we do in English into Spanish. For years, some of our letters and books have been translated into Spanish. But this past year we took this task to a new level. We established an office at Living Waters Ministries in

Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, where a team of translators, editors and proofreaders are going to great lengths to make sure our materials are being translated accurately. To date, 72 KCM products—books, tapes and videos—have been translated from English into Spanish. As we strive to ensure that our materials are being translated correctly and communicate the spiritual meaning accurately, we are also taking into account the cultural and lifestyle differences in the way the materials are presented. To accommodate the needs of our 1700 Spanish-speaking Partners and Friends, we have on staff at KCM headquarters here in Fort Worth, two licensed ministers and two representatives in our contact center who speak Spanish. Plans are also on the drawing board to translate the BVOV broadcast, magazine and Web site into Spanish. As you can imagine, this is a huge undertaking, so we’re walking it out one step at a time. This year our goal is to begin airing a weekly Spanish BVOV broadcast in the United States. As the resources become available, we will air the same broadcast in countries where Spanish is the primary language. For years we’ve been praying about this outreach, and finally we believe we have the infrastructure in place to support this expansion. I’m excited about that! Please add your faith to ours as we move forward to effectively minister to Hispanics in the United States and other countries. This is “The Year of Overflow.” At KCM we’re stepping into that overflow in many ways—including Spanish! And remember, Partners, we couldn’t do it without you!

Baby Healed of Coma A member of my congregation who has been saved for one year had a 1-year-old baby in a coma in hospital. After the Friday afternoon meeting in Frankfurt, three members of the prayer team prayed for the baby. She woke up immediately! The next day, her mother took her out of hospital; all is well with her. Mother and baby came to the Saturday evening meeting straight from hospital, with all her family. That evening, her grandmother got saved, delivered from occult involvement and filled with the Holy Spirit! E.R. | Germany

Healing School Brings Healing Touch My daughter and I attended Healing School in Brighton. Gloria called all those who needed healing to come forward. She laid hands on me. Next morning when I got up, I was completely healed from the shoulder pain I had for quite some time. Twice I had cancelled arthroscopic surgery on my shoulders, as I knew in my spirit that God would heal me. All praise and thanks to G Almighty, for His healing touch. Karuna | United Kingdom

Meeting Makes a Difference in the City T you so much for coming to Brighton. It was so wonderful to see the power of God in this city and to see the excellence of KCM at work here. The city feels different somehow; or perhaps it’s me. I know I have changed. Lyn Lynch | England

Overflow in Finances It didn’t look like it was possible for us to go to the Singapore Victory Campaign with all the bills and credit card repayments. I had written and asked you to agree with us in prayer for the finances to go. Our prayers were answered in an amazing way after we sowed a significant seed in obedience to the Lord. We received such a harvest that we went to Singapore thankful and full of the joy of the Lord, knowing that Our He had given us an overflow of finances to were meet every need during our trip. We stayed in in an a nice four-star hotel and we flew to Singapore way. instead of driving there. The Lord made sure we went to the Singapore Victory Campaign in style with plenty of spending money to boot. We had a shopping spree at the KCM products table! What gave us more joy than anything was that during the meetings we could tithe to the Lord from the money we had received.

Awesome Meeting—Just When We Needed It Most! Just wanted to express a huge THANK YOU to Ken and Gloria and everyone involved in the recent Brighton Victory Campaign. The meetings were such a blessing to us, coming The meetings were such a just when we needed them. What a privilege to enjoy the sweet presence of the Lord. Beautiful and powerful praise and worship, and the communication of the pure, uncontaminated, powerful Word of God! Awesome! To all who took part from the beginning to the end, from the greatest to the least—thank you all very, very much!

Oppression Lifts—Joy Descends Praise God! What a God we serve. I had the most wonderful experience at the Brighton Victory Campaign this weekend and also experienced fellowship and worship and praise—for the first time in my life! It was so helpful to be able to speak with other people as I don’t have any Christian friends where I live. The songs of worship that we sang at every service have stayed in my heart, and on the way to work today I was singing “God Is Good” on the bus! One of your prayer warriors saved my life on Thursday night with her compassion and wisdom. She prayed with me and helped lift many oppressions I was facing. I would love to say a heartfelt thanks! SGazette are huge success! Set Free From Suffering I was healed miraculously of macular degeneration (an eye disease) after 30 years of suffering. “Me and My Mates Were Blessed” All five of us were blessed indeed through the rhema word spoken out by Brother and Sister Copeland! They are such awesome preachers! I think the whole victory campaign went on very well. Kudos to KCM Australia and the local Singapore church that provided ushers—they were one spirited and hospitable bunch! The experience of watching, hearing, learning and having the Copelands preaching right in front of me was something not to be forgotten. Me and my mates were blessed with such thrill and excitement! With love from your Partners in sunny Malaysia,

Boldness, Laughter and Prayer We attended the meetings in Singapore and were blessed by the Word that was preached. As a very keen listener to your Internet broadcast daily, I must say the messages heard are truly STRONG MEAT CHUNKS that make one chew and chew—like a cow. It is very uplifting, making us bold and strong to speak of His righteousness without fear. With confidence in the blood of Jesus we can say Satan is illegal in our lives and so is sickness, poverty, lack, etc. We also love the smart phrases you come out with that make us laugh. We even jot them down for further laughter. Praise God our God IS a God of laughter. You are remembered without fail in our daily prayers. May His resurrected power be displayed in a mighty way in the days to come in your life and ministry. Thank you for remembering us in your prayers. Ralph and Geraldine | Singapore

Fragrance of God’s Love Permeates Meeting I would like to share about my experience at Belfast during the Friday and Saturday evening services. Having worked in the past on a golf course for 10 years, I know the smell of the land after being refreshed by rain. There is just a fragrance that rises up from the grass and plants that is lovely. Well this same fragrance kept sweeping through the front of the auditorium as Kenneth was speaking. Being head usher, I just thought an outside door was open and it was coming in from outside. But that was not the case. I believe it was the refreshing fragrance of God’s love bringing revival rains to a very needful land. A. P. | England

Power of God In—Pain Out! I would just like to tell you at KCM, about a miracle that I received at the Belfast conference. I had osteoarthritis in my hips and feet and was walking with the aid of crutches. During the meeting I felt the power of the Lord touch me. I was able to walk without the crutches and all the pain left my body. My friend Ruth also had a miracle and was healed from the top of her head to the tip of her toes from pain in her body. We give all our praise to the Lord. Ruth and I thank KCM for their faithfulness to the Lord and that they do all to honour and glorify our Lord Jesus. Jean Evans | Wales

Bible Teaching as Never Before My wife and I have just returned f rom Brighton and felt compelled to let you know what a blessing we received over the three days. We came away knowing that we had heard B teaching as never before. Kenneth’s integ rity, humor, compassion and honesty were such that we could not believe how long we had been listening when it was all over. We could have received the Word all night if that had been possible. Thank you again for three days of blessings which will be talked about for a long time to come. Jump into the

I am so thrilled and excited about this time we’re living in and all that’s happening around us, I can hardly put it into words! If there ever were a time to walk with and serve the Lord Jesus, it is now. The miraculous is exploding into manifestation on every hand. I’m thinking right now of something the Lord said to me in the visitation I received in December 2003:

|

This is the time

you’ve been waiting for, hoping for and believing for.

Oh my, how very true that is. It’s time to jump into the flow—His flow—of the wonderful, marvelous works of the Spirit. Let’s go to the Word and find out exactly how God desires to bless us. We’ll begin with 3 John 2 which says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” It’s interesting to note that where the King James Version says “I wish,” the Greek text actually says “I pray.” This truth, coupled with the fact John identifies himself as “the elder” in verse 1, is very significant when you stop and think about it. It really settles something extremely important. The man who wrote this verse of Scripture is a man who had walked with Jesus as a personal disciple and aide. When Jesus hung on the cross, He entrusted this man with the care of His mother. This man understood the importance of words if anyone did. So when he said, “I pray above all things that you may prosper and be in health” it was extremely significant.

of His love!

Now why do you suppose John spoke so strongly in this verse? I’ll tell you why. Many years before, he had heard Jesus preach it and teach it over and over again. For example, in John 10:7 he recalls the time Jesus referred to Himself as the door to the sheepfold. Now let’s look at verse 10: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The Amplif ied Bible translation of John 10:10 gives us an even better insight. It reads this way: “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Glory! Abundance to the full till it overflows! That’s what is happening right now. Now read that version again, and continue to read the very next line: “I have come that you might have full, overflowing abundance. I am the Good Shepherd.” This is telling us that as the Good Shepherd, it is Jesus’ When you want what God wants for the same reason He wants it, you become...unstoppable.

job to overflow His goodness, abundance, prosperity and health in our lives. That is His calling from God the Father. I’m sure many of you may be thinking, So why hasn’t He done it? Well, He has! But in many cases, religious unbelief and hardness of heart have stopped the flow of His goodness from being received. But no more! We are finally beginning to open our hearts and minds to overflow.

Together, We’re Changing Lives…Through | In teaching this subject on the Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcast, Brother Keith Moore said something that really stuck with me. He said, “When you want what God wants for the same reason He wants it, you become...unstoppable.” It is God’s divine will for you and me to take this overflow to the whole Body of Christ all over the world. It’s time for Christians to prosper. It’s time for us to be well. It’s time to go, go, go to the dark and dry places of the world with a tsunami of God’s love to wash over people in areas where there has never before been any chance of abundant life. It’s time for us to bring hope and joy to those who need it. The time is now—and the message has been placed in our hands. The anointing is here. The treasure house of heaven has been poured out. Amos 9:13 talks about a day such as this saying: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows the seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine and all the hills shall melt [that is, everything heretofore barren and unfruitful shall overflow with spiritual blessing]” (The Amplif ied Bible). Now that’s overflow—up close and personal! It’s a day in which we can harvest just as fast as we can sow. It’s also a time to reap a harvest from seeds we’ve sown in the past. The time for the full manifestation is NOW! Let’s experience that fullness. Let’s get into the overflow! Let’s double up on our time in God’s Word. Let’s strengthen our confessions of His promises. Let’s praise, praise and praise some more. And of course, let’s repent for things that are not right and change them. And it’s of utmost importance that we put His commandment of love first place over everything else in our lives if we are going to have full, overflowing abundance. Let’s go back to the elder John to find out more about how to walk in love. John 14:21 is very enlightening. In reading this let’s remember, only four chapters before we learned Jesus came that we might have abundant, overflowing life. Now we discover: “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” The life of overflowing abundance is in the life of love. So tell the Lord God how much you love Him—tell Him you love Him with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself. Oh, how wonderful these times are. Remember, when we want what God wants for the same reason He wants it, we become unstoppable. So let’s put everything else behind us and jump into the river of His love! V ICTOR Y Unstoppable—That’s Us!

As the Fat Burns

I

must confess, I’m a little relieved that swimsuit season is over. It takes a lot of hard work and mental tenacity to be satisfied with the way we look when billboards, magazines and television commercials are featuring images of seemingly perfect bodies. Yes, we know these images are technically enhanced to give the illusion of perfection, yet it still can be challenging not to allow them to affect our self-image. What’s a girl (or guy) to do? Well actually I believe there are several things we can do to feel good about the way we look. First, we can remind ourselves that God made our bodies and He made them all differently. You and I need to learn to accept and love our bodies. Matthew 22:39 says, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” So in obedience to His Word, we must love ourselves…and that includes loving our bodies. Then if we want to improve or change something about ourselves, I think we should go for it! I am in favor of anything that improves the quality of our lives as long as it is safe and our motives are right. And of course by exercising and eating healthy, we’ll not only begin to look better, we’ll feel better too. Are Washboard Abs Possible?

“But Marty, I really want a smaller waist,” you might say. Or “I really want those washboard abs the infomercials promise.”

Well, me too! After having three children, I know how much determination and hard work it takes to attain a high fitness level—but it is doable. We can improve the way we look—it’s even possible to have toned, firmer abs. Will it happen overnight? No. How fast we lose weight or inches depends on a number of different factors. Much of your weight loss will be determined by your diet and exercise routine. Your genetic makeup has something to do with it as well. Something else you should realize that you won’t learn from those infomercials is this: It is impossible to “spot reduce.” By that I mean, you can’t exercise your abdominal muscles and expect to lose weight or inches solely in your abs. You can’t exercise your legs and expect weight loss to occur only in your legs. Why is that? Because the body’s fat compartment is one system. By exercising and burning calories, you can lose weight and inches. But depending on how you’re genetically wired, you may lose in your thighs first, even

if you’re exercising your abdominal muscles. Don’t let that discourage you. In most cases, by exercising and strengthening your abdominal muscles you can eventually have tighter and firmer abs. Enduring all those crunches will pay off! If you’re still not convinced “spot reduction” is nothing more than a myth, consider the results of studies cited in an article published Oct. 4, 2004, in the News Journal: In one study conducted several years ago, researchers compared the circumferences and fat deposits in the right and left arms of accomplished tennis players. The investigators proposed that if spot reduction worked, the racquet or playing arm of an athlete should have considerably less fat than the inactive arm. Although circumference measures in the playing arm were greater because of more muscular development, skin fold thickness measurements revealed no difference in fat deposits between the two arms. In another study conducted at the University of Massachusetts, 13 men underwent a vigorous abdominal exercise program for 27 days with each performing a total of 5,000 sit-ups over a certain period. Fat biopsies from their abdomen, buttocks and upper back were taken before and after the exercise program. Results showed fat decreased similarly at all three sites—not just in the stomach area.

for fat loss. The goal should be about 64 ounces of water per day for the average-sized person; more if you weigh more or when engaging in physical exercise. Keep in mind that the length and duration of your workout should depend on your age and fitness level. Check with your doctor before beginning any diet or exercise routine. Also remember you didn’t gain weight (or inches) overnight. And you will not lose it overnight. But if you get started, get moving and be consistent you’ll eventually see reduction in those areas of concern “as the fat burns”! A consistent aerobic workout, coupled with weight training and a healthy diet will help you achieve your fitness goals. Remember, God is interested in every aspect of your life— including your health and fitness. The latest products or workout equipment will not be able to give you the awesome abs promised in three weeks’ time. But you will be able to achieve better health, a higher level of fitness, and yes, even awesome abs, as you incorporate the following. 1. A commitment to better nutrition. Healthy eating habits are necessary for your body to burn excess fat. 2. Aerobic exercise three to five times per week. Walking, running and swimming are examples of aerobic exercise. Not only will this type of exercise help you burn calories and fat, your heart, lungs and cardiovascular system will benefit as well. 3. Strength training (weight or resistance) two to three times per week. Building muscle boosts your metabolism—one pound of muscle burns about 35 calories a day, whereas one pound of fat burns only two calories. Muscle burns calories, thereby reducing fat. And a firm, lean body looks slimmer. Not only that, building muscle helps strengthen your bones. 4. Drink plenty of water. You simply cannot be healthy without it. are people who receive! by Gloria Copeland

One

of the best ways to increase our capacity to receive from God is to study the accounts the Bible gives of people who were good receivers. I want to focus on four of my favorites: the woman with the issue of blood; Jairus, the synagogue ruler; the Roman centurion; and the beggar—blind Bartimaeus. > We find the first two in Mark 5. Their stories are so intertwined in Scripture that they are best told together: Behold, there cometh one of the r ulers of the synagogue, Jair us by name; and when he saw [ Jesus], he fell at his feet, and besought him greatl y, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him. And a cer tain woman, which had an issue of blood twel ve years‌when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his c lothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the f ountain of her blood was dr ied up; and she f elt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague (Mark 5:22-34).

obviously heard the reports of Jesus’ love and power and had believed them. We also find him speaking words of faith. After telling Jesus about his sick daughter, he said, “Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live” (Mark 5:23, New King James Version). Pay special attention to those last three words. They are not a request; they are a declaration of faith: “She will live.” Watch Jesus’ response to Jairus, and you will see a clear picture of how God always responds to those who reach out to Him in faith, trusting His goodness and power. Jesus did not say, “Who do you think you are to tell Me what to do? Let’s look first at the woman with the issue of blood. She Maybe I don’t want to come to your house. Who are you to was facing some very bad circumstances. She was not only tell Me to lay My hands on somebody for healing? Maybe I sick, she was sick and broke. On the contrary, bed, crying and thinking, If God is good, why He immediately turned and went with Jairus, has He let this happen to me? intending to do exactly what Jairus asked. She reached out to incident was over, Jairus had received very bad news: touch His clothes. Sure enough, exactly what she said happened. She was While [ Jesus] yet spake [with the woman], there instantly healed. Other people were touching Jesus, but came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain theirs was not the touch of faith so they were not receiving which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou anything from Him. She is the one who was believing, the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the speaking and acting on the word she had heard about Him, word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the so she is the one who received! But Look at how Jairus, the synagogue ruler, received. Jairus did exactly what Jesus said. As a result, Jesus did exactly what Jairus had said. lying. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked. And they were astonished with a great astonishment (Mark 5:35-36, 38-42). I think it is very interesting that when Jairus received news of his daughter’s death, Jesus immediately said to him, “Be not afraid, only believe!” Why was Jesus so quick and definite about that? He knew Jairus’ wholehearted faith and his faith-filled words had put him in position to receive his daughter’s healing. He did not want Jairus to step out of position by allowing fear to get into his heart and choke his faith. Jesus did not want Jairus to diminish his capacity to receive by speaking words of doubt and fear. Thankfully, Jairus did exactly what Jesus said. As a result, Jesus did exactly what Jairus had said. He went to his house, took the girl by the hand, and told her to rise. She came back to life healed just like Jairus said she would! Jesus Changes His Plans Some people seem to have the idea that faith offends God. Or maybe they have the idea that God doesn’t want to be bothered. Religious people especially seem to get upset at the idea that anyone would be bold enough to expect God to do exactly what they asked Him to do. But the fact is, faith does not offend God; it pleases Him. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” God isn’t bothered by the boldness of the one who comes to Him in faith, because that boldness isn’t inspired by the person’s confidence in himself. It’s inspired by his confidence in God—in His goodness, His love and His power. One of the best examples of such confidence can be found in Matthew 8, in the story of the Roman centurion: When Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and 28 |

my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour (verses 5-10, 13). Isn’t that amazing? Not only did Jesus do what this man asked Him to do, He changed His plans in accordance with the man’s next request. Jesus intended to go to his house and heal the servant, but the centurion said, in essence, “No, I’d rather You not come to my house because I’m not worthy. Just speak the word and my servant will be healed.” Once again, notice the centurion put himself in position to receive just as Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood had done. He heard and believed the word about Jesus. He spoke words of faith, saying, “My servant will be healed.” And he put action to his faith by coming to the Lord. Making the Faith Connection Our final example of good receiving is found in the healing of blind Bartimaeus. Mark 10:46-52 tells the story: As [ Jesus] went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. One of my favorite things about Bartimaeus is that he

refused to let the people around him discourage him. They did not have the faith in God’s goodness that he had. They had such limited understanding of God’s love that they thought Jesus would not be interested in a seemingly worthless, blind beggar. But Bartimaeus had heard about Jesus. No doubt he had heard of His mercy and kindness and His healing power. And he believed. So when the people tried to shut him up, he cried out all the louder, “Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me!” Why did he cry so loudly? Because he was convinced in his heart that if Jesus heard him, He would answer. Jesus would deliver him. This was his chance of a lifetime. Jesus heard him and when He did, He stood still and commanded that Bartimaeus be called. Aggressive faith gets Jesus’ attention. What Bartimaeus did next was one of the most beautiful expressions of faith recorded in the New Testament. He threw off his cloak. By that act, he was making a very clear statement. He was saying, “I’m not a blind man anymore. Jesus has

that his desire could be answered and the servant healed. Jesus asked Bartimaeus, “What can I do for you?” Bartimaeus told Him what he wanted. Jesus said, “Your faith has made you whole.” What Bartimaeus said, Jesus did. He immediately received his sight and followed Jesus. Look again at Acts 10:38: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Jesus was so good that He went about doing good and healing all who would receive. When you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve seen the Father: Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I

heard me, and I’m as good as healed!” Notice what Jesus asked Bartimaeus next. He said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” (verse 51, The Amplified Bible). Bartimaeus said boldly, “Master, let me receive my sight” (verse 51). Bartimaeus was in perfect position to receive. God was looking to and fro throughout the whole earth for someone to whom He could show Himself strong…and He found Bartimaeus full of faith, speaking and acting with great confidence in Jesus’ goodness and power. The connection was made and Jesus said, “Go your way; your faith has healed you” (verse 52, The Amplif ied Bible). I want you to be impressed by Jesus’ goodness and how willing He was to express that goodness. Whatever those who came to Him for help said, He said. Jesus acted on their words! He, being just like the Father, was easy to receive from. The woman with the issue of blood said, “If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health” (Mark 5:28, The Amplif ied Bible). The moment she touched it, she received her healing. Whatever the centurion asked, Jesus was willing to do, so

speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works ( John 14:8-10). The Bible says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” ( James 1:17). There is no changing in Him. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.” Jesus and the Father are still going about doing good and healing all who will receive. “The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works” (Psalm 145:9). Jesus is saying the same thing to you today that He said to Bartimaeus. He is asking all who would look to Him in faith, “What do you want Me to do for you?” Jesus is alive and well today and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is just as anointed and compassionate today as He was when Bartimaeus sat by the roadside begging. The Resurrected Lord, the Messiah, is saying to you, “Receive your healing today! Receive your deliverance today!” V ICTOR Y
