Join us for the KC Pumpkin Run! This new event includes a 5K run/walk through the farm, a kids run for kids 8 and under, lots of fun activities for the whole family, and everyone gets a pumpkin! What a great way to kick off the fall season!
November races South KC 5K - November 5 at 8:00 am Executive Hills East/Blue River Park, Kansas City, MO The South KC 5K on November 5th is organized by the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and benefits the Community Assistance Council, a community assistance organization that empowers individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency through the delivery of direct emergency assistance, education and advocacy. Learn more and sign up here! Run for Adoption 5K - November 6, 9:00 am Waterfall Park, Independence, MO Join us for the second annual 5K run/walk! Participants receive a finisher’s medal and proceeds from this event will benefit FosterAdopt Connect, whose mission is to provide foster and adoptive children a stable, loving, and nurturing family environment by support and advocacy for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. Learn more and register here. Longview Half Marathon & 5K - November 12, 8:00 am Longview Lake, Kansas City, MO Check out the feature race page for information about the race or register here. KU Veterans Day Run - November 13, 9:00 am Memorial Stadium, Lawrence, KS Join us for this annual event to honor our past/present veterans and raises awareness of the roles veterans play in our university and community. The 5K begins and ends at Memorial Stadium, traveling through the KU campus past KU’s five war memorials. Proceeds support KU’s Wounded Warrior Scholarship Fun, the KU Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter, and the new KU Student Veteran Center. Learn more and register here.
Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Family Stroll November 24 at 9:00 am Sprint Campus, Overland Park, KS Join us for the 27th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Family Stroll! The Krispy Kreme doughnut Aid Station is back! Halfway through the course, pick up a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut for a boost to carry you to the finish line! At the finish line will be coffee and hot chocolate from the Roasterie and apple cider from Louisburg Cider Mill. Learn more and register here.
Fee-Free Friday is October 28! If you register for the Great Santa Run 5K on Friday, October 28, we will pay the processing fee for you!

November Events November 5th at 9 am Fall Healthy Running Series - Health Issues for Women Runners Leawood KC Running Company store (4760 W 135th St, Leawood, KS) Join us for the second presentation of the Fall Healthy Running Series, just for women at the KC Running Company store in Leawood! As you train for longer races, the additional miles can impact your body in ways you may not have experienced before. Learn about the health issues that especially impact women runners at this presentation by Dr. Carrie Grounds, local runner and OB/GYN physician, and bring your questions that you have been wanting to ask but not sure who to ask. We will have a short group run in advance of the program beginning at 8:30am. There will also be a drawing for prizes for those to attend. Call the Leawood store to sign up at 913-3855633. November 17th at 6:30 pm - Ugly Sweater Group Run Martin City KC Running Company office (411 E 135th St, Kansas City, MO) The annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Group Run will be on November 17 at 6:30pm at our Martin City world headquarters! There will be a short group run of 3-4 miles followed by the Martin City holiday lighting ceremony, and food and beverages from Martin City Brewing Company! There will also be an ugly holiday sweater contest and a raffle for prizes! The event is free but we would like for you to sign up so we know how many to expect. View Facebook event page here.
