Northern Ohio’s Clean Energy Future Conference FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2011 • OBERLIN COLLEGE, OBERLIN, OHIO 8:30 a.m. – 1:35 p.m. • Root Room, Carnegie Building 1:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. • West Lecture Hall, Science Center Panelists and speakers will discuss investment-driven solutions in renewable energy, improved infrastructure, and energy efficiency, specifically: • Northwest Ohio’s regional energy profile • Alternative energy potential – solar, wind, and biogas • Lessons learned in community-wide energy transformation • Regional transportation solutions Speakers include: • Program Director of HUD Sustainable Communities Initiative HUNTER MORRISON • Paul Sears Professor of Environmental Studies and Politics DAVID ORR • Author of Apollo’s Fire BRACKEN HENDRICKS • Congresswoman MARCY KAPTUR TO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE YOU MUST APPLY In an email, please include: • Your name • Whether you are faculty, staff, or student. – If student, please include class year, major, times available to attend the conference, and one paragraph discussing why you would like to attend the conference.
