SMOOTHCUT 37 size: 37”x 10” wheelbase: 28.5” inside: 9 ply Canadian maple features: Drop-through, wheel wells.

In 1992, PM-KebbeK began as the dream of a Kimberley, British Columbia high-school student under the T-Shirt brand of Powder Milk. Over 22 years of its evolution as a deck manufacturer in Canada, PM-Kebbek quickly gained a worldwide reputation for its durability, precision and craftsmanship. We were pretty much the first brand to introduce CNC technology to deck building, KebbeK revolutionized the way maple plywood could be bent. We created a precedent for all speedboards and longboards to come. Today you can see an infinite number of videos of the worlds top riders in exotic places, but how many can brag about being the first to take a lonely mountain road and make it into a run. In this catalogue you can see a few of the first descents made by Kebbek riders in places like India, the United States, China, Chile, and of course our majestic Canadian mountains. This is an early Spring catalogue featuring some new board designs and some classics. We went back to a unique artist by the name of Damien Zuch who has been drawing off and on for PM-KebbeK since 1994. Blending his unique animal cyborg mechanisms into Pierre Gravel's apocalyptic scene-scapes yanked right from an episode of the Power Puff girls, Kebbek shows that skateboarding has always been about having fun, using your imagination, and doing things in a way that not everyone would. Stand apart. Do what you want, skate what you want, draw what you want. Try something you've never done before, skate a road you are sure has never felt a single skateboard roll across it.

KebbeK invented the drop through board. A few racers in the olden days used to do this by hand in their garages to help get a flat deck lower, but Kebbek gave it to the world. There are now literally hundreds of companies making longbaords and virtually every one of them has copied Kebbek and put a board like this in their lineup. This board is easily one of the most maneuverable and tight-line friendly drop-through decks on the market. A mid-size wheelbase with a deep leaning capacity makes this speedboard ride like a cruiser, so use it for both.

HAIRPIN

JOHN BARNET size: 42” X 9.25” wheelbase: 28.75” inside: 8 ply Canadian maple, features: drop-through, free-ride rigidity.

size: 42” X 9.85” wheelbase: 29” to 30.5” inside: 9 ply Canadian maple features: Flat kick tails, 3D pockets, rigid platform, small 0.6” drop.

The Hairpin is one of our oldest models. It has been in the family mostly because it gets along well with all of the others. It has gone through several changes over time but we can all agree that it is a great light yet stable dropthrough deck.

When free-riding became its own genre, we worked with John to make a board which could drop in on a ramp, slide along rails but also pass the competition to stand on the podium to show off the lipslide scuffs on the graphics.

The Hairpin is designed for those tight hairpin turns and many of them. The super grippy concave lets you crouch in and out of position with ease so you can attack the next set of turns. It the next one happens to catch you off guard you can slide it out and wave, then brag about it in the video. .

The John Barnet is a speedboard with freeride mixed into the glue. It is a great push board. It has a great mellow concave which hugs your feet. Beware it gets attached quickly and does not want to let go...

TOPMOUNT 33

CAFTEN size: 33”X 10“ wheelbase: 23.25” to 25” inside: 7 ply Canadian maple. features: Short, light, wheel wells, good traction.

size: 41.5” X 10.1” wheelbase: 33” inside: 10 ply Canadian maple. features: long wheelbase, rigid platform, 17 degree wedged nose.

Like our other topmount decks this little rocket is stable and great for controlled sliding even at higher speeds. It is light and it is fast. This board is perfect for lighter or shorter riders because of its compact size but it will not hinder your ability to learn like some other small boards out there. It has all of the gusto of its bigger brother the Topmount 36 but with a rocker-cave that feels natural.

Like the man who inspired this beast, the Caften is a legend among speedboards and those who know what speedboarding is. We still receive letters thanking us for building such a solid deck and inquiring about how to get another of the same vintage if a car happens to ruin the first one. We still see Caftens from ten years ago being ridden around today but we also noticed quite a few knock-offs even from well established companies. So be the judge yourself but the next time you see a big board with a seventeen degree wedged nose, know where it really came from.

The Topmount 33 can be used for bombing hills but it is also fun to push around and dodge stuff in your way thanks to its shorter wheelbase.

The Caften can be spotted at downhill races and under those guys and girls who like to travel obscene distances with ease. Get some nice precision trucks to create an incredibly stable fun ride.

TOPMOUNT 36

AMANE KISHIDA size: 36” x 10” wheelbase: 26.25 to 28” inside: 9 ply Canadian maple features: wheel wells.

size: 32” x 9.5” wheelbase: 17.4” to 20.6” inside: 7 ply Canadian maple, features: Deep FlatKave, multiple wheel-base options.

Coming from a deeprooted speedboard heritage, the Topmount 36 is a compact yet fast and steady deck. It has multiple wheelbase options so you can ride more of the platform and remain stable. It has a symmetrical riding platform but unidirectional shape so your bros will know you're riding switch since doing so is so easy you'll look as comfortable is when you are riding normally.

Amane has been on our team for over a year now and his pro model has attracted lots of attention. With a good concave, pedals for added traction and a kick tail, it is no wonder why this deck is a great choice for not only cruising but also for pool and park. Have a look at some of Amane's footage and see what the hype is about. The deck is slayer of banks and it sucks itself right back under you no matter how far you push it out on your toeside speedchecks.

The Topmount 36 can be found bombing hills or winning slide comps.

The Amane Kishida is a pool, slash, park board with a light yet stable platform. It can be mounted with the rear truck on the kick for added stability at higher speed.

JUERGEN GRITZNER City

JUERGEN GRITZNER Alps size: 36.2” x 10.5” wheelbase: 22.9”-26.5” inside: 9 ply Canadian maple features: wheel wells, mellow kicks.

If the Alps aren't your scene, you can still ride like Juergen on his city model. New to KebbeK this season, we're giving our sickest rippers city versions of their pro model. When you ride everyday you need more than one setup. Most of our boards cross disciplines such as downhill and freeride but for Ben and Juergen we've decided to do it all. The Juergen City is smaller than the Alps deck so we recommend owning both.

Juergen is a born and raised Austrian, which means he knows what it feels like to be 5000 meters up in the sky staring down a 20 km long descent. When he rides downhill, he's actually riding downpeak! He needed a board that feels good on 30 minute long runs, see where DH skating is going on Juergen's Alpine machine. This deck has a sweet concave in a hefty little package where ollieing into a f/s boardslide is still possible.

The Juergen City deck is an all around city cruiser with a kick in the rear and a small kick nose. It is nice and wide and loves pools as long as there is no water in them.

The Juergen Gritzner will plow through rocky hairpins and breeze through the straightaways. Use the kicktail to your advantage and take the outside path and cut back in at the front of the pack.

KALATOR

SWITCHBACK size: 40” X 9.8” wheelbase: 30” to 31.5“ inside: 10 ply - 5/8” Canadian maple features: 1.25” drop, intense corner pockets, rigid platform.

size: 39.5”X9.5” wheelbase: 28” to 29.5” inside: 8 ply - 1/2” Canadian maple features: wheel wells, camber, rigid platform

Getting you low to the ground, and locked in is the mission with the Kalator. It is stable at speeds yet ready to go sideways whenever you are. With an endless concave leading into the drop, this board still holds one of the most intense pockets out there. This deck has been the pro-model of legends like Max Erwin and Jim Ziemlanski, the forefathers of kick-ass downhilling. They realized that there is a perfect balance of being lowered and being over the trucks and this machine is that exact moment where it feels like the only thing in control is you. No underturn, no wobble… just your best chosen lines ever.

Another great symmetrical product; the Switchback holds its name as you can ride it through some of the tightest terrain you can find. Go Tuck Yourself and feel the speed this demon has to offer.

The Kalator is a free-ride dowhill deck.

Topmount decks offer a lot of turning freedom and ease in kicking the board out into a slide. What most of them don't offer is the ability to pull that board back under you but this is exactly how the switchback's concave was conceived. You don't ride this board, this board rides you, where you want, when 0.75" you want. Free-riding is the name of the game for the Switchback.

BEN DUBREUIL MOUNTAIN

BEN DUBREUIL CITY size: 32”X9.25” wheelbase: 18 to 19.5” inside: 7 ply - 7/16” Canadian maple, features: multiple wheel-base options.

Four years ago when Ben designed this board, there was nothing at all like it on the planet. Now virtually every wannabe longboard maker has tried to clone some of this thing's DNA. Let's try to list the features it has: symmetrical shape with twin kicks, slight drop with a cambered centre and spoon pockets on both ends of the foot platform, wheel flares that act as bindings and lean clearance, springback because it all holds together in a weird poppy sensation people though you could only get from composites.

Lots of amazing downhill skaters got their start on a skateboard by riding street and park. Ben is one of the rare breeds who got his skills as a DH skater first and then has been totally destroying ramp and city as he gets older. His unique outlook on how to shred a town comes form knowing how to get up to an obstacle at full speed and how to get away from it while still charging. The machine he feels makes that blend nice is based on vert decks form the 80s. This is not a flashback, this is a 2014 deck designed for Ben's style of skating today.

What does all this mean? Optimal foot placement for stuff like going for a big spin off your buddy's launch ramp, tucking really low to pass this leather wearing dude before the hairpin, ollieing to a manual on your favorite obstacle or pulling 70k + powerslides to draw some nice thanes lines, this board just won't let you down.

Use it wherever, early grabs are back and this time they aren't going away. Find lines in your town that the big board can't get through.
