It all started from here..

From my perspective

Morning Cafe Self initiated project 2021

In the morning after walking and cycling people halt here under the banyan tree beside the temple to take fresh breeze from the lake. This land is in ruins while on the other hand an opportunity for creating a recreational space. Appreciating the site context, a well curated morning and evening cafe has been designed. This space will not only serve healthy cuisine but also be a spot for nature appreciators to spend some quality time.

Concept note.

Redesigning an existing ceiling fan which eliminates an air purifier at home, therefore increases open area on the floor. The airflow pattern of Ananta filters all the air in the room and not only its local atmosphere which in turn decreases energy cost. This would also create a new standard of lifestyle among people living in highly polluted states.

Concept note. The product can easily bring the freshness of green in any indoor space while it is dark. The lamp is having very high attention grabbing power and can have your emotion attached to it because of the plant you care about.

Memory ofillustration previously visited places. a family trip to Coorg forest, Karnataka The first time I looked from the balcony, all I could see was dark green and black colour. I was looking at a sky without any blue colour reflection of sun rays. My wooden cottage was in between a forest beside a water pond. Should I dare to dive into the pool? I could slip from it into the steep terrain of deciduous forest. The decision was taken. We dived into the freezing cold pond with long trees engulfing us from three sides. Low height flower plants on the front of pond created a nice frame while taking pictures. Utility blocks were at a level down causing no hindrance. As the chip tiles of the swimming pool were green in colour one could get an illusion of water plants growth underneath. Reflection of surrounded by pond added to the illusion. It felt like the pond was situated in a deep valley of trees.

trip to ancestors Rajasthan Haveli architecture You automatically tend to wake up early when in a Haveli setting. I was enjoying my milk with the morning view of the enclosed chowk. Here there was no green to please the eyes, still it felt humble. The perfect height of a parapet wall gave privacy to our madness but at the same time gave us a glimpse of the outside world. Feeling the cool silky mud on our feet, we were waiting for our bath water to warm up. One could see more sand from inside the Tibari probably used to clean utensils. And finally, you can cook directly above yourself- tall walls with jharokhas at a regular interval making way to the sky.
