Trent’s Speech Firstly, thank you Nick. I just have to mention how hard it is to takr a guy who still plays Candy Crush seriously. Ive known Nick since I can remember, and moving away from New Plymouth in his late teens, I knew he was the man to be by my side, because I was hoping he would have the least to say. Boy was I wrong! Seriously, Bridesmaids and Groomsmen thank you for all being part of today, and don’t they all look amazing. So welcome friends and family, we appreciate the distance and effort made by you all to make it today, and it’s so good to have everyone share it with us. So now i’d like to introduce you to my new wife, Annalee Kemsley. Doesn’t she look breathtaking! She’s a little shy on changing her last name, so when it does become Facebook official, don’t forget to go give it a like. Annalee, did you write this? We hope you’ve all been enjoying today - if not, I’m truly sorry but you can’t really take it up with me as I had little to do with the organising. We just turn up and do the fun part, but what I do know is the effort Annalee has gone to, to make it so perfect. Along with friends, family and also vendors who have been Annalee’s work colleagues, that have become friends. On a serious note, i’d like to mention the people not here with us today. Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and also friends, thry will never be forgotten. To Annalee’s parents, you’re the coolest in-laws i’ve ever had. Thank you for raising a beautiful, talented daughter and for giving her away so willingly, almost to the point it got a little suspicious. It just happened so quick, you know things are going great when you find out from other people she’s moved in before you did. You can trust me when I say, I will do everything in my power to love and protect her, to have her back, and also try to listen to her. Because she’s already told me multiple times “no one could ever put up with you Trent”. And she says I don’t listen! Clinton, I can’t thank you enough for your generosity. Im yet to visit your house without drinking atleast 5 beers. Therese, you’ve passed down amazing traits to your daughter, she’s easy going, caring, thoughtful and beautiful. Though unfortunatley she struggled to inherit your knack of gardening, baking, but most importantly staying sober. Mum and Dad, I know it’s becoming a habit but you will shake your heads everytime you see us together, you can’t seem to decide wether to sympathise with her, or celebrate with me. But today is about celebrating and you can’t save her now! But honestly, you’re both the most kind, caring, helpful, genuine hardworking parents I’ve had. It scares me to think what would have come of me if you weren’t, you both deserve every bit of happiness and I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you guys - and PS thanks for hogging all the baldness Maurice, love Annalee.
