Dermot‘s vows This is my wedding vow that I have been waiting a long time to write and finally I found the person to write it for and it’s you Claire McIntyre the one person I have been searching for for years and it’s finally happened, that one person that I love waking up to beside me every morning, that one person that I love coming home from work to see and that one person that I can’t live without. I love how organised you are and that you always keep me on my toes, I love how you always surprise me randomly on different days and nights, you have maybe booked a first table or tell me we are going to the beach for some fish and chips it’s the simple things in life that keep me happy and you know how to do it. The main thing I love about you is just how much you care and the love you have for me. You are always open to giving me a cuddle and kiss just to make me feel wanted and in return I always give you loads of the good stuff aka tickles of the feet! Claire, I stand here today and I want you to know that as we take these vows in marriage that I also make these promises. I promise to show you love and affection everyday from this day to my last day, I promise to look after you, to care for you and more importantly listen to you. I promise to continue to tickle you from this day even right up until we are both old and wrinkly! I promise even when the bad times might come along on life’s journey that I’ll be that strong babe of yours and always do my best. That the bad times get out weighed by the good happy times that we both deserve to have with one another. Claire, you are my best friend my babe I’m so happy and proud that you’ll be my wife. I look forward to spending the rest of my days with you looking forward to making memories, babies and most of all having fun along the way and not being a bore of a husband. Dermot I love how calm, loving and emotional you can be, even watching the lotto advert makes you well up and I wouldn’t change it one little bit! I miss you when we are apart which is not very often, and although I don’t show it as much as you do, its true I miss you! Dermot we met on Tinder and to my surprise, it was the best right swipe I could have made. I believe things happen for a reason, and that we were definitely ment to cross paths, right here in Christchurch/NZ. Dermot I promise to support you in your career goals, and love you, even when things get a little tough. I promise to allow you to tickle my feet forever. I promise not to lose it when you drink out of my can of coke zero from the fridge. I promise to be make your lunches for work, so you don’t buy subways! I promise to continue to be your best friend and the loving wife you deserve. Dermot, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
