To stand somewhere and feel the roots and historic foundations, to breathe deeply and fill your body with the essence of space, to dive in to cool waters refreshed and reborn, to look up and see your Maunga, not only replenishes your soul, but it reminds you that no matter where you are in the world, here is where you belong. This is home. This whenua holds histor y and meaning to Renee and Jordan. To marr y here adds to their connection to the land, family and their whakapapa.
Entanglement is described as the continuing impact of one system on another, even after separation and this is exactly what happens between people who are in love. Two people in love like Renee and Jordan. They have been separated by hundreds of kilometres, they have faced and overcome adversity and now they look ahead with promises for their future as husband and wife. Their lives are and always have been connected, entwined, entangled. When couples join together, they create a whole greater than the sum of their par ts, and there is nothing greater than friends becoming family, and families becoming one.
renee’s vows Jordan, Its common knowledge that I’m the most indecisive person ever, but one of the easiest decisions I’ve ever made, was when I said yes to spending the rest of my life with you.
You are my best friend, and there’s so much that I love and admire about you. You are genuinely a sweethear t and the most selfless person I know. You always put others first and never hesitate to give people a hand. You are driven and always strive to achieve the best in ever ything that you do. You never fail to make me smile and we have so much fun together You have such a big hear t and I know you’re going to be an amazing Dad one day.
As we take this next step together, I promise to continue to love you and to keep our relationship open and honest. I promise to suppor t you and encourage you in all that you do, except when it’s to do with buying truck par ts. I promise to be there for you through all of life’s ups and downs. I promise to keep tr ying to tidy up after myself, we both know that’s not always going to happen, but I will tr y! I promise to be the life companion and par tner that you deser ve.

jordan’s vows Renee, you came in to my life at exactly the right time, when I wasn’t ready, yet when I needed your love the most. My love for you cannot be described in words, but I’m gonna give it a go. You are not just my par tner, but my best friend. You are kind, caring, silly and smar t. You have the ability to comfor t me and calm me down, which no one else can do. You understand me more than I understand myself. You made sacrifices and showed your commitment to me during the lowest time of my life. You were and always will be, my reason to get up each day.
