Emmett’s Vows It took a number of injuries to find the physio of my dreams, but you were wor th the pain. You had my attention from the first time I saw you, but your humour, silliness and excitement for life has grown my love for you each day. I love you. I love you for the par tner you are to me, I love you for the Mother you are to Leo. Each day you find a way to make us smile and laugh, even if makes you look silly. You provide me with perspective when I need it, and you insist we take time to smell the roses as a family in an otherwise busy world. You are the centre of my world and the hear t of our family. I promise to love you unconditionally, as well as provide for and protect our family. I’ll put you first and tr y my best to bridge any gaps we might face in our marriage. I promise to kill any bug you tell me to, and I’ll make sure the rubbish is out before 7am ever y Wednesday morning without fail. I will respect you, suppor t you, challenge you to fufill your potential and help you achieve your goals. I will work with you to show our son what unconditional love really means. I love you, Zig!
Zigie’s Vows Emmett, there are so many reasons why I love you. You make me laugh. You are my safe place, my place of calm. All that you do, you do with kindness. You challenge us both. You are thoughtful, loyal and the most generous person I know. You are so intelligent. You are a committed and loving father. And you are all of these things, ever ything single day.
I am so proud of us. We have built our relationship on respect, trust, silly dance moves and a lot of wine and chocolate. Thank you for all that you do, and all that you have taught me. Thank you for our gorgeous son. I feel overwhelmingly grateful knowing Leo will grow up with you as his role model. And I think he’s already as handsome.
