Kefas Berlin Jens-Peter Jannes

Kefas Berlin is a voyager in the world of song and body and he dedicates his life to song, its wellsprings, expression, and healing power. He believes that singing is an inherent and much neglected potential and right; that song in its nature is harmonizing and healing; generates peace and goodwill between people; and is an infinite spring of joy and energy. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, he has worked 30 years pedagogically, therapeutically, and artistically with song, dance, play, and physical theater. From 1999 he was a Singing, Movement and Theater teacher all the while being head of Teaterstudion (School of Physical Theater) at Vårdinge By's Folkhögskola. For 10 years he has given singing workshops and retreats in Sweden and outside the country. The workshop has been appreciated for its liberating intensity, playfulness and vocal discoveries.
