KE Fibertec is leading supplier of textile based ventilation (TBV). With our specially designed fabric ducts we create an ideal indoor climate in sports halls, offices, laboratories, schools, etc.

Fabric ducts can be customized for almost any purpose. They are hygienic, easy to install and maintain and can be supplied in a wide range of shapes and colors. In 2012 KE Fibertec succeeded in getting CradleVent® certified as the first Cradle to Cradle ventilation duct in the world.

KE Fibertec develops, manufactures, and markets “Healthy Indoor Climate” or air distribution systems based on fiber technology and sustainability. You may choose from an almost unlimited range of system layouts, colors, materials, and whether the TBV system must be passive, hybrid, or active.

Unique materials and colors.

As the only manufacturer in the world we offer customised woven textiles from our own weaving mill. Our materials are designed for air distribution - not for tents or patio blinds when it comes to uniform air distribution, shrinkage after washing, color-fastness, and not least best possible Dust Holding Capacity.

Efficient air distribution.

Compared to steel ducts, fabric ducts offer efficient, uniform, and draft-free distribution of fresh air without “dead zones”, an ideal indoor climate, and quick and easy balancing.

Better ergonomics.

Our materials weigh 7.7-11.8 oz/sq yd, which is much lighter than metal ducting. Additionally, fabric ducts are much easier to handle and transport as they are folded and packed in cartons of a maximum weight of 55 lb.

KE Fibertec’s flexible and lightweight fabric ducts are dimensioned to fit each room. Our suspension rails come cut to size, making installation simple and time-saving.

Product range.

Impulse Systems.

The air distribution principle for horizontal Impulse Systems is based on passive thermal displacement where the air is supplied at a lower temperature in relation to the air in the room.

Impulse Systems are especially suited for offices, schools, restaurants, laboratories and other applications requiring mixing ventilation and for factory premises with room heights of 10-20 ft for cooling only. They are available in the form of round (Ø), half-round (D), or quarter-round (½D) ducts.

Inject and DireJet Systems.

KE Fibertec markets two products for high impulse ventilation: the Inject System and the DireJet System. Both these systems can be produced in the form of round (Ø), half-round (D), or quarter-round (½D) ducts.

The Inject System comprises groups of holes, small (Inject) or large (Inject XL) in the fabric duct, while the DireJet System comprises rows of conical nozzles specifically for 100% active, directional air delivery.

Both the Inject System and DireJet System can be regarded as high impulse systems for mixing ventilation and can be used for cooling, ventilation, and heating.

Inject Flex Systems.

DireJet System

Inject Flex is a family of multiple sized laser cut holes for the Inject fabric duct. This range of sizes will allow us to design for the optimum air delivery for the application.

The Inject Flex holes are available in multiple patterns and orientations to meet design needs and can be configured to perform in soundsensitive environments.

The Inject Systems are available in various permeabilities and hanging systems with hold-open and/or tensioning devices.

• Best used where medium to short throws are required

• Mostly used in medium throw premises

Suspension systems.

KE Fibertec’s fabric duct systems can be supplied with different suspension systems - cable for round ducts or the Safetrack system for round, half-round or quarterround ducts.

What all the suspension systems have in common is that they can be fitted to any type of ceiling and are supplied cut to the same length as the fabric duct. They are also packaged with the necessary accessories and a specific label indicating where they are meant to be installed.

Safetrack Hold Open Systems.

Safe 360

The Safe 360 system consists of removable rings per 20” or 3’. The stainless steel rings are locked with velcro inside the ducts so that they can easily be removed for washing.. The ducts will keep looking inflated, and it is our best solution if popping is a big problem.

Dual Arch

Dual Arch mounting brackets utilize the stability of double rails and at the same time they are quick and easy to install. Large fabric ducts will be stably suspended both with and without air and installation time is reduced considerably as the ducts are mounted in a single ceiling rail.

SafeStretch Tensioning System

The SafeStretch® System is easy to install and basically consists of two tensioning devices - a fastening section at the duct inlet and a tightening device at the bottom that creates the necessary inflation of the duct.

Colors and Materials.

GreenWeave

Energy-efficient and sustainable fabric duct material. GreenWeave is especially suited for comfort installations with high demands on indoor air quality. Typical applications are offices, schools, laboratories, conference centers, and cold work rooms in food industry.

• Filters the supply air as a MERV 11-12 prefilter acc. to ASHRAE-Standard 52.2-2007

• Longer washing intervals with staple fiber yarns

• Dust holding capacity of 0.7 oz/sq yd fabric surface acc. to ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007

• Fire tested acc. to UL 2518 and EN13501 B-S1-d0

• 100% recyclable and Cradle to Cradle certified material

• GW materials are woven from dyed yarn, which reduces waste water consumption by approx. 2/3 compared to traditional piece dyeing

MultiWeave

Durable and versatile fabric duct material.

A multifunctional material that is highly suited for many different applications, from cleanroom facilities of ISO class 4, industrial facilities and sports halls to equalizing rooms in meat factories.

• Material made of multifilament yarns that filter the air as a MERV 2-4 prefilter acc. to ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007

• Cleanroom certified (class 4 acc. to ISO 14644-1)

• Fire tested acc. to UL 2518 and EN13501-1, B-s1,d0

• Highly durable material. Tear strength of 110-210 N acc. to EN ISO 13937:2

We offer a wide selection of standard colors, and at an additional cost, we can supply you with fabric ducts in whatever color you need, e.g. according to the Pantone color system.

Tailored designs

Flexibility and tailored designs characterize KE Fibertec’s fabric duct ventilation solutions.

Here you may freely choose the size and shape that fits the architecture of the building the best. Product development of the fabric based ventilation design enables us to offer curved fabric ducts designed for a specific radius (minimum 40 ft) and with Safetrack rails that conform to the shape of the duct.

All logo types and colors are allowed and the image will look the same wash after wash.
