Ten Old Square recognised as a premier set by Chambers UK and STEP
Leading legal directory Chamber UK has announced that it will be listing all three QCs and eight juniors from Ten Old Square as “Leaders in their Field” in the next edition of its guide to the UK legal profession. The objective and independent guide is published annually in October by Chambers & Partners after many months of painstaking research and thousands of interviews with clients and lawyers. Head of Chambers Francis Barlow QC is recognised for his work in the traditional chancery field , Simon Taube QC is recommended in three specialist areas including traditional chancery, charities and offshore and Eason Rajah QC is ranked for his traditional chancery and Court of Protection work. The listed juniors will be Susannah Meadway (traditional chancery), Jeremy Callman (partnership), Jonathan Gavaghan (partnership and commercial chancery), Robert Arnfield (traditional chancery), Richard Dew (traditional chancery), Georgia Bedworth (traditional chancery and Court of Protection), Toby Boutle (traditional chancery) and Naomi Winston (partnership). Senior Clerk Keith Plowman is delighted that Ten Old Square will, once again, feature heavily in the guide and comments “We are a relatively small chancery set but we pack a hefty punch with both traditional and commercial chancery specialists of the highest calibre. Its encouraging and flattering for our barristers and staff to be picked out by our lay and professional clients for praise”. Ten Old Square has also been listed as a finalist for “Chambers of the Year” in the STEP Private Client Awards 2013/14. The winner will be announced at a gala dinner in London in September 2013.
