NEWS FROM THE CONCIERGE DESK Our front-loading washing machines need a special detergent. It's called HE (High Efficiency) detergent. Without HE detergent your washer will not clean as efficiently and properly. Using regular detergent may even cause your front loader mechanical problems. HE detergent is a type of non-sudsing detergent. In fact, while operating, the machine almost appears not to have any detergent inside. 3For information on The Residences Providence Newsletter, please contact Kelly Lee at kelly@residencesprovidence.com

RESIDENT TESTIMONIAL This month’s Resident Testimonial is by Edward, a newly married business owner from the Boston area. He and his family recently relocated to Providence because of his wife’s job. How long have you lived at The Residences? My wife and I have lived at The Residences since June 2010. What would you like to share about yourself to other prospective residents? I am not a ‘city’ person, but my wife is. She convinced me that I would love living in Providence because of its size and location. I have to admit that she was right! Providence is a friendly and a very walkable city. The location is second to none, I love being 15 minutes from the airport, ½ hour from the beach and 10 minutes to walking paths. Have you used the concierge services, and if so, what has been your experience? I have made dinner reservations through the Concierge – they have great advice on the most popular restaurants in the city. And I love that the front desk is monitored 24 hours a day. The security here is an important feature. The concierge staff is so hospitable—I don’t know if I could live with out them! What do you think about the indoor access to dining, shopping, the fitness center, movies, or other indoor conveniences? I love the indoor access. Over this past winter during one of the larger snow storms, my wife and I walked over to the Providence Place Mall to do some shopping, and had the place to ourselves! Every store we went in, we had a full staff waiting on us. It was by far my favorite shopping experience!!! What do you think about your floor plan and the finishes, the quality of your home? The space is perfect. Everything is top of the line and brand new – I really love the marble bathrooms and the kitchen is perfect for entertaining! What would you say to someone considering the Residences amongst all the choices in Providence available to them? The Residences is the most welcoming and centrally located place in the city. Between the location, indoor access, concierge service and 24 hour room service— I couldn’t picture living anywhere else in the city.
