“My mom and my sister, Kerrie are positive role-models that influence me. They help me to advocate for myself so I can succeed in life.”

The actor-role models that are significant to me are some Disney actors/actresses: Sofia Carsen-American actress and singer, the late Cameron Boyce a very talented dancer and entertainer, Meg Donnelly who has acted in movies with positive messages of acceptance and to “just be yourself”-- don’t try to be something you are not.

What is your dream assignment?

My dream assignment would be to portray a new character in a Disney movie such as: A princess or Super Hero with Down Syndrome (yes, this should be acknowledged).

Also, I am a big fan of John Stamos! So, having an assignment on Fuller House would be a dream!

Where do you see the model and acting industry going in the next 10 years?

I think the acting and model industry is changing. In the next ten years, I would like the industry to include people of all abilities. The industry needs more representation of diverse talent. It needs to be all inclusive.

What got you interested in modeling & acting?

Since I was 12, I have always tried to imitate and memorize lines from Disney Channel shows and movies. I would always dance and sing in public. People would tell my mom if I didn’t already take acting lessons that I should because I am very friendly and outgoing and appeared comfortable and confident in front of a camera. This is when I started acting lessons at Bristol Valley Theater in Naples, NY.

What would you say to women and girls who feel like something is holding them back from pursuing any dream that feels impossible?

I would say “never give up”. To keep on trying and do your Best. Nothing is impossible despite being difficult. It does take a lot of hard work and perseverance to succeed.

What are you most looking forward to in the coming years?

I am looking forward to the pandemic ending and getting back to doing my normal activities. I want to do in person acting classes and theater productions again. Also, I am looking forward to being selected for some acting and modeling jobs.

What role has Kristin Bauer-Gross played in your career?

It has been such a pleasure working with Kristin Bauer-Gross. At first my mom was hesitant about committing to such an expense, but she has had no regrets. Kristin is so knowledgeable and honest about the acting/modeling industry. She has shared so much of her experience with me. Kristin has shown tremendous support and excitement for me to further my acting/modeling career. My mom was very impressed that

Kristin made an effort to learn about and understand Down

Syndrome so she could help me better. She was always attentive and listened to what I had to say.

She’s very patient and responded quickly to any questions my mom or I had.

My mom and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristin.

We like her style of teaching and appreciate all her help with being in a fashion show together, having a professional photo-shoot, professional make-up lessons, informative on-line classes, getting started on a business Instagram page, and this feature in Rochester Woman Online.

“I have dreams and goals for my future like anyone else. I’d like to attend college for meteorology as well as be an actor/model. My ultimate acting goal is to get a part on Disney or Nickelodeon Channel.”
