Final Tips Always wash your hands before baking. You want your treats to be tasty and safe to eat. Tie any long hair back. Nothing is more unappetizing than finding a hair in your food. When prepping your baking area, make sure you have all ingredients needed before measuring the first ingredient. Always have extra flour on hand while baking. Dusting cookie dough with flour helps to keep the dough from sticking to any surface. Preheat the oven before you start putting together a recipe. It cuts down on baking time.
