I grew up when kids were still told go outside and play. We wandered the neighborhood making tree forts. I love writing and a good writer is a good storyteller. A good storyteller is a good listener. If you have a good sense of humor it will get you through almost everything in life. The most important thing I think I have learned, throughout life is how to put myself in the other person's shoes and there but for grace go I. I listen to people's hearts. You learn a lot listening to the rhythm of the human heart. That to me, is what all the best teachers of any faith do -- listen to the heart and learn wisdom from joy and pain both in this journey of life. Which is where those stories come in -- each one given from a heart, a mind, a soul, connect us all together.
