42nd Annual Hall Ranch Bull Sale - 2023

Page 1

Friends and Fellow Cattlemen,

We welcome you to the 42nd annual offering of Hall Ranch twoyear-old, pasture raised, range ready Registered Angus bulls. We appreciate your interest in our program and the genetics we continue to provide for your evaluation.

It has been quite a challenge the last 365 days with subzero winter temperatures and below par spring and summer moisture, and most recently and abundance of the white, fluffy stuff! With these challenges it is important to make an investment in your bull pen. Our two-year-old bulls are pasture raised and range ready. They will produce efficient, easy keepers with the power to grow and perform. They will sire moderate birth weight calves that have the potential to grow into functional cattle for the feeder markets.

During the fall and winter, we have witnessed several of our customers topping or near topping the markets with their quality feeder cattle and yearlings. We would love to have you be among them.

If you have any selection questions, give us a call. We always provide you with the opportunity to evaluate the bulls on their home ground 8 ½ miles north of Bassett. We are working with DV Auction again, so you will also be able to view videos in February. Look for links on our website hallranchangus.com or on Facebook, Hall Ranch Angus, or Instagram, hallranchangus1902. If all else fails, the bulls will be in town on February 28th.

We look forward to seeing you sale day, Wednesday, March 1, at the Bassett Livestock Auction.

Sincerely,

2

Health:

All bulls sell with health papers for immediate shipment. They are semen tested and fertility is guaranteed.

Credit for the amount of purchase, less $3,000 per bull, will be applied toward a bull for replacement. Credit can be used at the time of loss if the buyer finds that we have a suitable replacement available. If the buyer prefers, the credit can be used at the following year’s sale on a bull. The buyer will keep the salvage value of the injured bull. This is not a mortality insurance policy. Mortality insurance will be available at the buyer’s expense on sale day.

Be sure to talk to Trever about the bulls! He, along with Shyenne, is with them every day and making sure they are well taken care of even with the challenges of the most recent snow events. A big shout out to this young couple.

Pathfinder females produced their first calf near the herd average calving date, maintain a regular calving interval and have had three calves with an average weaning ratio of at least 105. Bulls with Pathfinders in their pedigree have been noted.
