Keltbray's Rail Plant business is a Plant Operation Scheme (POS) provider you can trust, with an exemplary track record of providing a safe, quality service. We are proud to be part of Network Rail’s POS, when working on the UK’s train network.

Keltbray have held a Plant Operating Scheme certificate since 2014, replacing the previous RPOL scheme and have managed works (POS, RPOL and Railway Safety Case) on the rail infrastructure since the 90’s, which provide a one stop shop for all rail projects.

We are an accredited Principal Contractor supplying on-track plant and fully-qualified operators to the largest projects across the country.

Keltbray Rail Plant POS services provides a full site survey listing the numerous hazards and risks facing your project. We produce lift plans and OTP plans/method statements, allocate the most suitable equipment and plan the most cost-effective means to complete the work. Once on site, our POS supervisors will work closely with your project team to ensure they deliver as efficiently and safely as possible.

We will conduct site walks with clients, site meetings, planning meetings and determine site requirements.

We engage early with our customers and align with the project objectives and technical requirements. This collaborative approach ensures all operations are performed safely and with certainty of outcome. We support you throughout the planning right through to the completion stage. There will be continuous feedback given throughout the project from our POS rep to our POS manager to ensure continuous improvements and productivity gains are achieved wherever possible.

Case Mega Railer

A multi-purpose machine with exceptional functionality and lifting capability. The machine is designed and built to be able to go on and off track and has a 4.75m dipper arm. Dependent of what is being lifted, it has the capability to work at a 9m radius.

Tracked Colmar T10000 FSC

A powerful tracked RRV with an extended counterweight to give a greater lift when effectively using attachments. It has extended tracks which allows the machine to lower itself down on to the railway tracks.

The lifting capacity and exceptional hydraulic system performance make the T10000 FSC ideal for crane and piling applications that would not be possible using a traditional converted excavator.

A wheeled RRV with an extended counterweight to give a greater lift when using attachments effectively. It has extended tracks which allows the machine to lower itself down on to the railway tracks.

The lifting capacity and exceptional hydraulic system performance make the T10000 FS ideal for crane and piling applications that would not be possible using a traditional converted excavator.

Our fleet of four MEWP's have recordable pantograph video capability. VAB certified to on-track and travel under live OLE and work adjacent line open.

SRS LRB 10-2-T1

Built on SRS’s proven reliable history of lorrybased RRV’s. Our fleet of five machines are VAB certified to ontrack and travel under live OLE and work adjacent line open.

SRS LRB 8-2-T1

VAB certified to on-track and travel under live OLE, powered rear bogie to facilitate fast self-powered access on minimum width RRAP’s. A fleet of two, one of which carries a pantograph and the other a PFD99 wire lifter.

HTT MEWP

Our fleet of eight HTTs have a reach of 9m. Four of the fleet also carry pantographs.

SRS Palfinger PKR 290

The PKR 290 Road Rail Crane comes complete with two trailers. The Paltronic 150 movement limiting device has been approved for ALO working.

Lorry-mounted remote control drilling unit. Can drill upto four holes simultaneously.

The template can be configured to project requirements.
