Directly off exit 82 of I-70, just 10 minutes from the I-695 Beltway, 20 minutes from the Baltimore Inner Harbor and with convenient access to Frederick as well as both Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, Waverly Woods is an ideal gathering place for you and your guests.
The Space
With views of the 18th green and fairway, our beautiful stone-clad veranda offers an idyllic setting and private accommodation for your upcoming event Adjoining the Clubhouse and with the capacity to seat up to 150 guests our facility is also “wired for sound” - so hook up your playlist or stream media and let the party begin!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many guests can I host at Waverly Woods? Our facility accommodates up to 150 seated guests or up to 200 non-seated guests.
What is the cost of an event? The costs associated with all events are determined by the size and needs related to your specific function.
Can we bring our own food? Yes, you are welcome to cater your own food. Please note that there are associated set up/break down charges if you do choose to self-cater.
Can we bring beer, wine or liquor? Unfortunately not, we comply with Howard County liquor license requirements which stipulate that any alcohol on our property must be purchased through Waverly Woods Golf Club
Can we tape/hang posters, signs etc. on walls/windows of the veranda? Yes, as long as they are displayed without causing damage to fixed surfaces.
Can we arrive ahead of our guests in order to set up? Yes you can arrive up to two hours ahead of your Event start time. However, please let us know in advance if you do plan on coming early.
BREAKFAST SELECTIONS
Just Donuts: $4/person - an assortment of fresh donuts & coffee
Continental Breakfast: $7/person - assorted muffins, bagels, pastries, seasonal fresh fruits, cream cheese, jellies & coffee and orange juice
All-American Buffet: $14 /person - scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, home fries & coffee and orange juice
Breakfast Sandwiches: $8/sandwich - egg, cheese, bacon/sausage served on a toasted bun & coffee and orange juice (vegetarian option available on request)
LUNCH & BANQUET OPTIONS
Gourmet Sandwiches: $15/person - an assortment sandwiches served with chips & pickles
MONTEREY ROAST BEEF (seeded wholewheat bread) - roasted top round of beef, roasted red pepper, field greens and tomato
HAM & SWISS BST (rye bread) - maple cured ham & Swiss, topped with bacon, spinach, and tomato
VEGAN SPECIAL (wrap) – with roasted red pepper hummus, cucumber, greens and olives
MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN (Kaiser roll) – Marinated boneless chicken with roasted red pepper, fresh spinach & pepperjack cheese
HOUSE MADE CHICKEN or TUNA SALAD – choice of croissant or wrap & lettuce and tomato
BUFFET OPTIONS
served with rolls and butter plus an assortment of cookies or brownies
Light Fare Lunch: $18/person
Beef Lasagna/Vegetable Lasagna & Garden Salad with balsamic and ranch dressings
The Pizza Party: $12/person
A selection of cheese and one-topping pizzas plus your choice of Caesar salad or green salad
Backyard Barbecue: $22/person
All beef hamburgers and jumbo beef hot dogs. Served with chilled potato salad and coleslaw and fixings and condiments.
Baja Buffet: $24/person
Tri-colored tortilla chips with salsa, flour tortillas, beef taco meat, chicken fajitas, Spanish rice. black beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole
Italian Buffet: $25/person
Baked ziti in a tomato bolognaise sauce and fettuccini chicken alfredo Served with roasted vegetables, seasonal mixed green salad with dressings and garlic bread
Ranch House Barbecue: $28/person
Choice of two meats: BBQ chicken breast, BBQ pulled pork or brisket Served with seasonal mixed green salad, potato salad or macaroni & cheese, corn on the cob and condiments.

CREATE YOUR OWN BUFFET
Starting at $25/person - select your two (2) entrées and two (2) sides. Served with assorted rolls, butter and cookies or brownies.
Entrées: Pulled Pork, Barbecue Chicken Breasts, Fettuccini Chicken, Baked Ziti.
Sides: Garden Salad, Caesar Salad, Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, Shredded Coleslaw, Fresh Fruit Salad, Fresh Steamed Green Beans, Mixed Vegetable Medley, Corn on the Cob, Macaroni & Cheese, Penne Pasta with marinara sauce.

BAR OPTIONS
Consumption Bar: (Cash Bar prices include applicable alcohol tax) Soft Drinks: $3 - $5 Alcoholic Drinks: Beers / Seltzers / Specialty $5 - $8
Bar Packages:
Non-Alcoholic Beverage Package: $16 per person (soft drinks, Gatorade, water, tea, coffee) Domestic Beverage Package: $30 per person (non-alcoholic, domestic beers, hard seltzers, wine)
All-Inclusive Beverage Package: $50 per person - domestic beverage package & all beers/house and rail liquor/wine)
CLUBHOUSE RENTAL DETAILS
Clubhouse rental fee: $250-$450/hour (depending on event type/size) Included: use of the clubhouse, set up and clean up of the event Any damages caused to the walls, fixtures or carpet will be billed to the event host Helium-filled balloons, glitter or confetti are not permitted The use of nails or staples is prohibited.
HOW TO SECURE A DATE

Note: We do not "hold" any date(s). A date is secured with the initial non-refundable deposit and a signed contract.
Final Guest count is due (2) weeks before your event Final Payment is due the day of your event. Final payment must be made via cash, personal/business check, Visa, American Express or Mastercard.
DEPOSIT SCHEDULE
To Secure Your EVENT Date a $500 Non-Refundable Deposit and Signed Contract is Required. Deposits can be made via credit card, check, or cash All checks must be made payable to Waverly Woods Golf Club.
