Ken Termini, with a celebrated career in the pharmaceutical industry and notable success as a high school basketball coach, has shifted his focus towards empowering college student leaders to excel in entry-level job interviews. Ken earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Penn State University in 1987 and began his career at Revlon. After two years, he transitioned to Forest Pharmaceuticals, sparking a 27-year journey through various sales and management roles. His adept handling of complex healthcare landscapes earned him the company’s top sales accolades: Rookie of the Year, Representative of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year. In 2002, Ken's career ascended as he was promoted to head the State Government Affairs Department at the corporate office of Forest Pharmaceuticals. His trajectory continued upward when, three years later, he was tasked with creating and leading Forest Laboratories’ Federal Public Policy & Government Affairs department during the crucial implementation period of the Affordable Care Act. He eventually rounded off his pharmaceutical career at Forest Laboratories (now Allergan) as an Anti-Infective Hospital Specialist, focusing on infectious diseases and hospital-based IV antibiotics. Ken had a lifelong goal to retire by 50, a plan he meticulously crafted following advice received at 19 to divide his life into thirds—learning, earning and providing, and enjoying the fruits of his labor. He achieved this goal through strategic financial planning, the aid of trusted advisors, and a disciplined approach to managing his investments and estate. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ken invested in real estate, focusing on vacation rental properties. His projects included developing large oceanfront houses and a 36-unit oceanfront condominium in the Outer Banks. Despite selling most of his real estate portfolio, he remains involved in the Outer Banks non-resident property owner (NRPO) group, contributing his deep understanding of property management.
