Year 1

MRS FINE

MRS MCLEISH MRS T JAMES

“Thank you for being such a lovely, welcoming, kind and fun class and making my first year at St Alban’s such a brilliant one. You will all be sorely missed!”

“You were my first class at St Alban’s and it has been wonderful watching you all grow and mature. I have no doubt that your amazing enthusiasm and tenacity will ensure that you go far and will make a huge difference to the world. Good luck in your next journey.”

Year 2 & 3

“Luckily for me the other Mrs James does not like untidy teaching so it was my absolute pleasure to make, craft, paint, create and generally get messy with you all. I loved those occasions when out of the confusion of paint, glue, paper etc. beautifully crafted art and designs emerged. I hope and pray that you will all keep striving to do your best, even though the journey can look messy I’m sure the outcome is going to be amazing!”

St Albans C of E Primary School | 15 September 2014 to 23 July 2021

Year 2 & 3

Year 4

Year 5

MRS S JAMES MISS CORK

MRS COWDRY

“In a teacher’s career, there’s always a class that stands out from all the rest! The one that is your ‘best class ever’! Super amazing when you get to teach that class two years in a row!!

“Although our year together was disrupted in a way we would never have expected, I feel we battled through together and came out stronger!

Ssshhhhh, Year 6 – don’t tell anyone, but you’re my favourite! It has been a pleasure to see you grow in confidence and talent. You are a thoughtful and caring group of young people who are more than ready to tackle the next challenge. Keep a little of St Alban’s in your hearts and minds to steady you on your journey. You are the inspiration that can change the world, one step at a time. I will miss you all.” Much Love, Mrs S James

“How time has flown! It seems like only yesterday that we were preparing to leave for Fairthorne Manor, practicing for our assemblies and walking to the swimming pool every week! I am so delighted and proud of everything you have each achieved and am so sure that you will continue to grow and flourish into amazing young people who have the ability to change the world for good. I wish you all the best with your future endeavours, knowing that the world will be a more sparkly place with you in it!”

BC (Before covid) there are so many wonderful moments I could retell. Your triumphs at Stubbington, discovering the wonders of Ancient Baghdad, sharing in the tragedy of ‘The Highwayman’ and decorating our Christmas tree with your Frida Khalo hearts. We crammed a lot into half a year! As you move on be sure to take every opportunity, throw yourself in to whatever you do and don’t underestimate yourselves. We will be following your success from afar!” Good luck from Mrs Cowdry

MISS NEWMAN “Thank you for all that you have done, for wildlife, during your time at St Alban’s; I have fond memories of working with you outdoors, over the years. I wish you every happiness and hope that, even if you drift away from nature in your teenage years (as I did) that you will return to the blessings that being connected with nature brings.”
