I welcome you to the 6th Annual Allandale Angus Bull Sale.
This year once again, Wayne has been aggressive in finding new genetics for his customers. The yearling bulls have a lot of calving ease options and power bull option. The cow herd is one that you want to see with cow families that are very strong. The udder quality and easy fleshing females walking the pastures at Allandale Angus does show the commitment of this purebred operation. As every year, Wayne has developed the 2-year-old pen to perfection, not over fed bulls that are made to go out and work. There are options there as well for calving ease and performance. This bulls here will allow you to service more females at your operation. This is his best set of Two-Year-Olds to date. The pens the bulls are fed are very large with athleticism built in mind and it shows. Please do come by the farm and Wayne would love to tour thru the bulls. We all know this is a people business and Allandale Angus is all about meeting new outfits and building long term relationships.
We will run the sale thru DLMS Farm Gate Timed Auction. Last year this style was very well accepted by all. The gathering of folks at the house was overwhelming with Steaks and refreshments being served by Wayne and his family. A great time was had by all that came by sale day, so this is your invitation to come to the farm sale day.

Looking back from last year to this year, there has been such a huge improvement. The weather is cooperating for calving, feed supplies are good and the cattle market is going in the right direction. Calf prices for this fall look promising.
Our 2-year-old bulls are probably the best we’ve ever offered for sale. We are not offering as many yearlings, but again the quality is up.
I would like to thank Peter Wilkinson for all the help he gives throughout the year and especially at calving time. Also, a big thanks to Mark at OBI for his support and advice. To my family, Keily, Ryan and Shannon who have very busy lives but still find time to help the old man when they can.
This will be our third Farmgate online sale, which we feel has worked well for us. I understand that for some, it’s not as convenient as a live sale but you are welcome to stop in anytime before the sale to have a look and we will give you any assistance you need. Also, this year we have decided to go with just a one-day sale instead of two; it will run from 9:00 am to 7:00pm, Thursday, March 16th.

3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale.
