PICK A COLOR, ANY COLOR!

2020 gave us a LOT of time at home and if you that didn’t drive you up the walls we assume you at least caught a glance of those walls every once in a while. You might have even noticed what color they are and thought maybe it was time to refresh the color. We’ve had a number of homes with BOLD colors pass through our office with our potential buyers and our sellers and that got us thinking, so we chatted with the agents to find out if they could paint a room in their house absolutely ANY color, what that color would be and why.

SW 7048

URBAN BRONZE

I like how warm this is and how well it pairs with natural surfaces like wood and stone. It’s a bit dark, so any room would need to have lots of natural light, and a little bit goes a long way, so I wouldn’t do an entire wall that didn’t have a way of breaking it up, say besides a fireplace, or as the finish on a an accent piece that had a light background.

SW 9147 FAVORITE JEANS

I would put this color in my office. I like having lots of visual cues to tell my brain what the space is for, so this fresh blue is a nice change to have in the office. It will keep things light, but also says “get to work”!

SW 7653

SILVERPOINTE

It is a nice neutral color that helps keep the room bright and then I can add color with my accessories. This way I can change the look of the room easily throughout the year and not have paint again.

I would paint my son Keelan’s room Romaine (light neutral green) because he loves green but it still will be neutral enough of a color to match the rest of the house.

SW 6253

Olympus White

I love neutral colors in rooms with lots of natural light. I also appreciate the versatility it allows with decorations that may have more aggressive color schemes.
