Dance with us The Department of Dance at Kennesaw State University is the largest dance program in the state of Georgia and a leader in undergraduate dance education in the Southeastern United States. We offer a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in ballet, modern/contemporary, and jazz, as well as a 15-hour dance minor. Through a variety of academic and practical experiences, we prepare our students physically, intellectually and artistically for the professional world of dance.

Ballet Modern/Contemporary Jazz Regionally and nationally accomplished faculty and guest artists provide our students with a high standard of education in our state-of-the-art dance facilities at Chastain Pointe.

Why Choose KSU? Our collaborations and partnerships with the region’s premiere dance companies and leading art venues serve as a way of giving our students professional experiences in the field of dance. These partnerships distinguish our program in the region and provide our students with opportunities to actively engage with professional artists in the community. KSU dance students have opportunities to perform, choreograph, teach and study at professional venues through our partnerships with Atlanta Ballet, gloATL, Dance Canvas, the Cobb Energy Center and the Rialto Center for the Arts.
