Many of our students discover the depth of their talents while at Kent and try things they never thought possible, wether it’s taking a sculpture class, performing in the annual musical or joining the Jazz Band. With so many options, you will find the one that ignites your creative spirit.

Kent, with every student required to take at least two arts courses. You can choose from more than 18 art and music courses, including Architecture, AP Art History, AP Studio Art 2-D and 3-D, Music Theory, and Music Technology. Acting, Shakespeare for the Stage, and Playwriting are options for those interested in drama. It’s not just what happens in the art and music studios and theater that makes the arts so vital to our school life. Every hallway is a display space for student artwork; performance groups enhance school events with their music and dance. You will have many different creative experiences that will enrich your artistic awareness and understanding of the world.
