Nearly new used books and more available at the Friends of KCPL Used Book sale. Prices start at 25 cents up to $4. Grab some books for yourself or pick up some holiday gifts for the readers in your life. December at Erlanger. The sale closes 30 minutes before the library closes. On Saturday, December 4, for $5 you can fill up a grocery bag of items.

The West End Stories Project captures the experiences of individuals who lived in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati throughout the 20th century. Covington Youth Art Contest BABIES TO AGE 12

COVINGTON: ALL MONTH Submit your best library, reading, or book-themed art to our youth art contest! Winners from 5 age groups (0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, 13-18) will have their art featured on mousepads in the Children’s and Teen departments, thanks to our new sublimation printer in the Makerspace. Submit artwork as a .jpg or .png file no larger than 9 in x 8 in to CovKidsKCPL@ gmail.com by Dec. 31. Library staff will vote for their favorites, and we’ll display the winning designs in the new year. Winners will also receive a mousepad to keep, as well as a $25 gift card to Amazon.

Looking to rehome some toys? Find some new-to-you toys to save on your holiday budget. Drop off items then come back after the collection to select new-to-you toys. Please make sure toys are: not broken, clean, if there are multiple pieces please have them bagged. No plush toys.

Letters to Santa, Letters from Santa ALL BRANCHES: DROP OFF UNTIL DEC. 13

Children can mail a letter to Santa and receive a response from Santa by Christmas. Santa Express Mailboxes will be installed in the Kenton County

Public Libraries, the Kenton County Government Center and Kenton County Animal Services on November 15 and will remain there until December 13. There is no postage necessary for letters that are dropped off at these locations.
