THE BIG SHIFT: Low Inventory Levels, High Demand… The 2013 real estate market is in full swing, and it is clear we are continuing the steady recovery that began early last year. The active listing inventory for single family residential and condominium properties in March dropped 1.53% on a month over month basis and dropped 35.28% on a year over year basis. In August 2007, there were 30,827 active properties, which is down 78.32% compared to March 2013 (“Peak to Trough”). At the same time, sales increased for single family residential and condominium properties up 46.04% on a month over month basis and up 24.69% on a year over year basis.
