KPA | Notice on recruitment

Page 1

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC This has reference to our earlier public notices, the latest being on 2 nd January 2017, regarding misinformation on recruitment at the Kenya Ports Authority. The Management still notes with great concern that despite these notices warning the public to be wary of fraudsters / conmen who are taking advantage of the innocent public to extort money in the premise of securing employment at the Authority, many continue to fall victim of this manipulation. We wish to restate that where vacancies arise at the Authority, the same will be advertised in the local dailies and on the official KPA Website www.kpa.co.ke. Please note that the Authority DOES NOT undertake recruitment through social media platforms such as facebook, whatsApp and twitter. We therefore again strongly caution the public against relying on such social media outlets and rumour peddlers on matters of employment at the Authority. We wish to emphasize that as a good corporate citizen, KPA will continue to embrace best practices and principles of transparency and equal opportunity employment as stipulated in the Constitution of Kenya.
