Notice to esteemed customers June 6, 2018

NOTICE TO OUR ESTEEMED CUSTOMERS This is to notify all importers using the Inland Container Depot Nairobi (ICDN) that we have more than 2,000 containers that have been cleared and entered by both Kenya Ports Authority and Kenya Revenue Authority, but the clients or importers have chosen not to collect them even after exhausting the free period granted by Kenya Ports Authority.

In view of the above and in order not to congest the Depot, the Authority is giving a notice of 5 days, effective from 3rd June 2018, for the owners/importers to collect all cleared cargo from the ICDN within this free period.

Upon expiry of this notice, the Authority in conjunction with Kenya Railways and Kenya Revenue Authority will transfer all these containers to a nominated warehouse outside the ICDN for storage at the cost of the respective importers.
