Sunday 28th September Demonstration Kitchen 10.15am-How to Make the Perfect Omelette. 11:00am—Signature Savouries—Greg Christofi from the Old Bridge Bakery to present the cups for the Baker of the Year Competition. 12:00pm– Andrew Coldwill from Coddys Farm Sausage Making Demonstration. 1:00pm—Keeping it Local with Carniceria Cooking with local and foraged ingredients. 2.00pm—Wedding Cake Decoration with Dawn from the Old Bridge Bakery. 2:45pm—Presentation of the fastest Omelette Maker with D J Gary Duncan announcing the winner. 3.15pm—Generation Game Style Cooking with Pam Mollan demonstrating how to decorate a cake, with a child to follow assisted by an adult, the best one gets a prize.
The Nook Brewhouse Tours Have you every wanted to see how a pint of Yorkshire ale is created? This weekend The Nook Brewhouse will be opening it’s doors and offering FREE tours of their micro brewery based in the heart of Holmfirth. Tours will take place at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Gather at the rear of the Nook Pub, Victoria Square, Holmfirth (HD9 2DN ) Numbers are limited and will be based on a first come first served basis so make sure to be there in plenty of time. Please be aware that due to the working nature of the building wearing open toed footwear or high heeled shoes is not advisable.
