HOUSING PROJECT: ROW HOUSE & APARTMENTS LOCATION: VADODARA, GUJARAT. SUMMARY: The concept of this project is to build a climate-responsive building. The main road (24mt wide) is north facing. Most of the rooms are located on the north side of the building because of its optimum usage during the night time. Rooms are having large openings. South & East facade needs buffer space to avoid direct heat, the area is having larger space to accommodate big balconies & wash areas. Service staff is free from the main building because, in an emergency like earthquakes or fire, people can easily access. 13th-floor used as skip floor for services & emergency. Common garden space in the central area because it can be accessed from surrounding sides, surrounded by the pedestrian path. The building is in the stepped form because of the context of row houses.

PROJECT: AGRO MARKET & INDUSTRY LOCATION: RAJPIPLA, GUJARAT. SUMMARY: Rajpipla has an issue of decreasing population because of migration. The reason for migration is job opportunity & education. Choosing the agro market & industry as my project because of the potential due to Narmada district's 90% base consisting of Agro and in Rajpipla 29%. In the Narmada district, only Rajpipla has GIDC area. The site is connected to the APMC market, railway station & Harsiddhi temple, because of this connectivity storage, transportation & selling of seed, the tissue of a plant & other agro products becomes easier.

SALIENT FEATURES

DESIGN THESIS PROJECT: HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY & INFRASTRUCTURE LOCATION: VADODARA, GUJARAT. SUMMARY: It is an ambitious project of the honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. Highspeed train Station & other facilities like railway station, bus depot & surrounded area like Janmahal, Shopping area, taxi stand all being connected. The 508km MumbaiAhmedabad high-speed link will be India's maiden high-speed rail project. It is part of the 650km Mumbai-Ahmedabad line, one of the six high-speed corridors indented for implementation in the country. The ground was excavated for the construction of the line on 14 September 2017 by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The line will be built on an elevated corridor for most of its length (468km) along an existing route, barring a 27km section inside a tunnel including a 7km section undersea) and 13km above round. The project is for the reduction of the travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to less than two hours compared to the current journey time of more than seven hours. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail will begin from Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex and end near Sabarmati railway station in Gujarat, covering 12 stations in total. (Mumbai, Thane, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadia, Ahmedabad, and Sabarmati.)

AIM / PURPOSE Reduce the travel time between two places. The purpose of the high speed train, for now, is to introduce to the citizens of India, a technology which so far has been available to only residents of highly developed or industrialized countries like Japan or Spain. The Government of India does not have any plans to upgrade the entire existing railway infrastructure to high-speed rail in the near future. At best, what they might do is link a few major population centres of the country with each other via high speed trains. The main purpose is to test if India is ready to move on to the next level of technology.

Main Building It is four level gigantic building structure with thick chittod wall cladding and pins. Level 1 has a reception and waiting area, cafeteria, all-day dining restaurant, Board room, conformance room, Pre-function area and common toilets. Level 2 has a fitness studio, billiards room, kids play area and table sports area.

Basement & ground floor contain parking spaces & reception areas. 1st to 6th floor have 3BHK 4 flat (an average built-up area of th 3BHK per unit is 1,338.30 sq. ft.).The 7 floor has 4B2HK 2 penthouses (an average built-up area of 4B2HK per unit is 4,315.07 sq. ft.). Common amenities like a gym, bar & gathering hall are located on the terrace.
