Failures Steals Truck robbery The trial court of Zacatecoluca sentenced three years imprisonment German Luis Armando Suarez Monterrosa and Oswaldo Mendez, who worked as a security guard and an armored cashier, respectively, for the theft of $ 459,000. On November 4, 2011 it was reported that over $ 400,000 had been stolen from an armored car, at kilometer 35 of the highway to Comalapa, in San Luis Talpa. The four company employees Protection Securities (PROVAL) guarding that truck told authorities they had been hit by a truck sandbox. Subsequently stated that collided against a utility pole and that this had caused the truck doors are damaged and open. Added to that, said a group of armed criminals stole the money and that this caused a shooting in the area. But in the course of the investigation, the Fiscalia General de la Republica (FGR) obtained evidence we found that the armored vehicle was not damaged and that the door locks were intact.
They tried. Four men wearing uniforms similar to those used by the Policia Nacional Civil (PNC) tried yesterday afternoon steal the money saved in the safe of an agency of the Banco fomento agropecuario(BFA) located near the center government. According Gersan Perez, head of the delegation of the PNC center, men intercepted a bank employee while traveling in his car a few blocks from the agency which had closed minutes before, at gunpoint and forced him to return. This employee told investigators that the people who head them on their way, at 6:30 pm, wearing uniforms similar to those used by police officers, and covered their faces with ski masks. The officer said the men forced the employee to open again the agency, she entered and went to where it is safe, but before they got the money sounded the alarm system available to this bank branch, it is connected with the Police. The police chief said this allowed PNC to reach the site at the time he committed the robbery. Witnesses told investigators that the men ran inside the bank, located at the 15. ª Calle Poniente and 7. Th Avenue north of the capital, heading eastward, seeing the police presence. The PNC confirmed that the four men failed to get a penny of the place, precisely because they lacked time to open the safe.

“The technology as the best tool for education” The technology has improved and grown up a lot lately and now we can do things that we thought they were impossible 10 years ago, for example we can control a car using our cellphone or “Smartphone”, we can transfer files phone to phone just put them together using the NFC technology that also allows us to pay or to use our Smartphone like a credit card, and maybe just a couple of years more in the future we’ll be able to use those hologram screens that we see in the science fiction movies to control almost everything. When we talk about technology in our country El Salvador most of the time we think in the future, entertainment, work and sometimes health, but there is one thing that the majority of us don’t think about; “the technology in the education usage”, without data information required we can certainly say that the education field is the poorest and more neglected in this country so much so that the majority of school doesn’t have a computer room.
But everything is not as bad as it seems; the foundation “Gloria de Kriete” with its “opportunities program” is doing a great job helping the young students with good academic performance to know how to use the tool technologies and teach to the people around them, maybe they don’t have the latest technology but they are doing the best of them to improve, giving them awards at the end of their studies like laptops to the outstanding students in different areas, also giving them scholarships to the best Universities in the country where they also have the chance of interacting with best resources. Now the questions are: Do they have to fight with the problems of missing technologies? If so, how can they have a good academic performance than a normal student? The information speaks by itself; just some students have the possibility to interact with technology and it is not only here in El Salvador, a lot of students around the world having a negative answer regarding their academic performance even if they have the latest technology devices. Now we can ask ourselves the next question: “Can the Technology help the students in their academic performance or not?” Most of the people think the technology can improve the education and not it just can help the student but it is pretty necessary, but in the other hand we have the opposite answer and plenty of people think it is just a waste of time and it distracts them a lot. To get a reasonable answer, we have to see and analyze what the technology can do, getting the pros and cons and how it can benefit or not the education. If the technology has benefited and contributed practically in everything, we are sure it can do it in the education too, but, why is it very difficult for the student to get a good and stable academic performance?, it is easy to answer, as some people say it is a big waste of time and it is true, for example if a youth has a computer the first thing he will do is to use it for entertainment like checking his Facebook, watching videos on YouTube, browsing on the web and also use it for a negative purpose like watching pornography or others wrong things. The ideal key is to do the people get the habit of using the technology for the correct purpose and try to implement new ways of teaching in the schools, of course using the technology. If we teach to new generations that the main usage of a computer and internet is to get information and increase the knowledge they will change the wrong expectation. By focusing in the present we are not far away of that target and it is nearer than we think.

Recently a team of scientists in Washington University School of Medicine found a new discovery: “Nanoparticles carrying a toxin found in bee venom can destroy HIV cells without harming nearby cells”. In an interview with Mr. Ayodele Salako, an apiculturist (beekeeper) corroborated the assertion of the researchers. “The bee sting is very medicinal. A bee keeper, who is stung by a bee every now and then, will not complain of any ailment because the bees have taken those things away from you by enhancing your immunity. That is one of the best works of bee venom.”
