eans are apart of everyday life. In any given country, you will find someone wearing jeans, on any given day. Where did they begin? Their history began on the legs of miners and farmers who required durable pants. The creation of jeans came from a man

named Levi Strauss, with his name carrying on till this day in the well known jean brand, Levis. You can wear jeans with just about anything to just about any occasion. The versatility, durability, and comfort(sometimes) has allowed the entire world to adopt these pants.

Khakis “Both casual and formal, these pants go well with everthing in your closet.”

hakis most often only come in one colour, khaki. These pants originated in Britan, where they were worn by English soldiers in the early 1900’s. The colour itself was only introduced to the pants to have a camouflage effect, blending in with the soil. Since then, these

pants have grown in popularity in many countries. Khakis are usually lighter in weight and softer feeling when compared to jeans. They can be worn casually out to lunch or even formally out to a party. The colour and style of khakis also go well with just about any outfit.

argos have been apart of the military image since the world wars. Like the khakis, the cargos originated in Britan, but were soon adopted by the Americans. The large pocket put on the side of the pant leg served as carriers of ammo and other war items. but now have turned

into a fashion trend. Cargos come in many colours, but most uniqely in the camo pattern. Cargos can be worn casually without looking like a soldier. Although usually not as comfortable or versatile as jeans or khakis, cargos are still a great pair of pants for men.

weatpants are worn by people of all ages and arguably the most favourite type of pants. Althought there is no clear history behind these pants, sweatpants seem to be a more modern invention. They serve as athletic attire, hence their name, but can be worn at

one’s laziest times. There are no zippers or buttons, you just put them on. They can be worn as athletic attire or casually: going to the store, taking a walk, or relaxing at home. Sweatpants have the edge in being the warmest and most comfortable pants, which is why its so loved.
