O, HI HELLO WELCOME Hi, my name is Kevin Kurniawan. I’ve graduated from Binus University majoring Visual Communication Design. Here’s my menu book (re: portfolio), I’ve done so many things related to design such as branding, layout, web design, ui/ux, and many more. But branding and layout still my favorite on. ANEKA LEMPER NUSANTARA KUMPULAN RESEP LEMPER CITA RASA INDONESIA
This recipe book is about one of Indonesian food called lemper and how to make it with the basic way. Also this book tells about the filling for the lemper itself, and the filling are all famous food came from all around Indonesia from west to east side such as ayam betutu. For the design and layout, using batik accents to show it’s authentically from Indonesia and also keep the clean layout for the copy.

ONINESIA Oninesia is a food brand which serve onigiri as their main dishes and combined with some of Indonesian favorite’s filling such as rendang and many more. Also they use like Nasi Kuning for the coating of the onigiri itself. Therefore this brand called Oninesia. This catalog was used to give information about the brand itself and what they sell. MAIN COURSE The part where all of the heavy menu were belong. This part is more about branding from making the logo itself until the applications for each logo to make the brand stronger. Besides branding, there’s also social media organizer and some of graphic design stuffs.

MARTABAK GUE Martabak Gue is a martabak store which is built by 5 young people who passionate in culinary world. Martabak Gue serve many variants of martabak from the sweet to the savory one, the also always dedicate to invent new combination for the topping and the base for every martabak. This was my final project in my university where I take Martabak Gue as my project. I do rebranding this martabak store from the logo until the other applications like stationary, menu, packaging, promotional items, and many more. For the rebranding itself, the idea came from the brand name ‘Gue’ which mean ‘my ’ in Indonesia so the new brand identity will focus on how this brand will bring ‘self-belonging’ essense and feel to every customers. Therefore, I choose to rebrand it as a revolving brand identity where the logo itself will change through the personalities in every customer and represent the brand personality itself which contains of attractive, cheerful, youthful, and fellowship. To show the personalities from this brand therefore each personalities represent by different colors, different icon and supergraphic. By showing different way in every personalities so it’s easy to remember also bring every personalities the self-belonging essenses. Also each icon acts as the supergraphic for this brand for the packaging, menu, and many more. As the revolving brand identity, this brand logo also can change through the mood or the feeling for each person and customer to represent themself as part of this brand.

JAUW JAUW is a fashion local brand focused on womens’ wear. The concept for the brand is combining feminim style with sporty looks and feel. All of the products from JAUW were using monochrome style to give simplicity and elegant looks for their own brand. The vision from this brand of course that this brand can compete in international world and give international taste for the local brands. For the logo for this brand was made from the initial of the owner then combined with sans serif typeface and dynamic shape to give elegant feel itself. MANUAL BREW WORKSHOP This was a workshop event from some of the hospitality students to the pre-professional high school about brewing coffee. This event was held on two different school. In this case, things that need to be done were the logo for the event, booklet, xbanner, certificates, and some poster. For the logo for this event was made from v60 coffee machine to show clearly about the event is about brewing coffee and the splash water colors to show happiness and represent this event was made for youth.

Martabak Gue serve many variants of martabak from the sweet to the savory one, the also always dedicate to invent new combination for the topping and the base for every martabak. In this project, I was able to maintain the social media of Martabak Gue and do some graphic design stuffs such as menu, packaging, and many more. Also I do photograph for the menu and social media stuffs. For the design itself, I do some modiification for the design style than the previous design since I wasn’t made the logo from the beginning. The design for social media and some other stufff need to be consistent to create stronger brand identity for this brand itself. Still made simple yet fun for the graphic design.

JUS GUE KEMBUNG Jus Gue Kembung was part of Martabak Gue which will have same segmentation and mostly share the same personalities for the brand itself. While the unique selling point from Jus Gue Kembung is customer can refill their juice’s cup therefore the name use ‘kembung’ to show full in Indonesian. In this project I was able to make the logo, packaging, maintain social media as well, do photograph for the products, and some other stuffs. For the logo, to show the consistent identity with Martabak Gue so I put the same ‘Gue’ in the logo and tweak the typeface to show fresh and joyful feeling. And the brand color use the same with Martabak Gue as well, for the graphic design and packaging to show handmade-feel I use freehand style for the graphic design and packaging style. CERES In this Ceres project I was able to make a series of poster ads consist of three posters. The series must use one theme and to promote the products at the same time. Then I made the ads about everything include animals and insects like something sweet and it refers to ceres. Therefore I made three insects try to get ceres. Softwares: - Adobe Photoshop

STARBUCKS In this Starbucks project I was able to find four unique selling points and identify about Starbucks itself then I have to make an infographic. After made the infographic then I have to make a new product from starbucks and its poster ads. Then I made the infographic by adding all information and icon that easy to read and understand by customers and reader. The new product I made was an ice cream with some variants but still shows that Starbucks is a coffeeshop. And the design still use Starbucks feel and style as we known before. INDONESIAN COFFEE FESTIVAL Indonesian Coffee Festival was an event that made for coffee lover and to show all the best coffee from Indonesia. In this project I made the website interface for the event, as this was coffee event, the color theme for the website ofcourse kind of brown and the interface is simple yet elegant to reach international customers.

MASAK MUDAH Masak Mudah is a recipes’ apps that used for sharing recipes and also this apps can be used for buying ingredients via apps. It’ll make cooking more fun and easy because all of famous the recipes were there. In this project I made the interface for the apps. The grid for the apps were matched to read by user. And also clean design to make the user more friendly with this apps.

CBN This was the illustration for CBN company. CBN wants to make a calendar, therefore this illustration was made to represents the theme of their calendar which all about technology figures. All of the illustrations were represent the theme with their quotes also for the depth of the illustration.
