kevin martianto cv+project portfolio
Greetings. I’m Kevin, a dreamer, an idealist, and i use to lost in mind contemplating about many possible results from what I’m doing. I believe in hard work but not without hard fun. I do believe in happy ending. Architecture is an idea. Architecture is like a bridge that connect us to the earth, about how we interact with it and how it affects the user itself. I like to learn something new every day, but I know that I also have to keep my personal shape of mind thoroughly.

08 Ekiben Location: Sopo Del Tower, Kuningan, South Jakarta The Japanese word ‘ekiben’ is essentially a combination of the words eki, meaning ‘station’, and bento, the traditional Japanese lunch box. While the project itself is a bar & dine facility located in the middle of crowded business area. First impression of Ekiben from the outside is just a simple food kiosk on the first floor of Sopo Del office tower, with an entrance door concealed as the kiosk’s wall. The interior blends the shape of train carriage interiors with traditional japanese architecture elements. Creating a total contrast feeling with the office tower where this project is located.
Like a traditional train carriage in general, so as the of dine and lounge seating layout. The dark color of the wood, classic red leather, and traditionally handwoven rattan strengthen the traditional Japanese feelings inside.

09 modular kitchen development In Collaboration with: Emil Antlov, Yemima Agustina The very traditional process of designing kitchen by visiting material shops and coordinating contracting is time consuming, costly, and frustrating. While the wealthier segments often hire an interior designer to do this work, but they can be difficult to find, expensive, and lack of transparent pricing. This research aims to solves this problem by providing an innovative end-toend solution for affordable online interior design, curated furniture shopping and home contracting needs.

01 Paramedic Academy Mentor: Suwardana Winata Location: Grogol, West Jakarta, Indonesia The idea of this project is to reintroduce and raise the awareness about the importance of first aid care by creating an education facility that trains Emergency Medical Technicians. As an education facility, the planning and the program established will be based on the curriculum of paramedic in which the class will not be learned only in regular class, but a lot of the study programs is done in practical classes. The challange is how to put a lot of simulation classes in small lot by maximizing the vertical space. The result of the design itself hopefully can give a positive contribution for the region by maximize the catchment and providing special space for the evacuation of flood victims which often happened around the site. 02 Des Galeries Area Redesign Mentor: Naniek Widayati Location: Harmoni, Central Jakarta, Indonesia The main idea in this project is to show the collective memories in Harmoni and revitalize it into the project. As in the past, this area was a trading center and place where nobles from Dutch are living. Those activities in the past were integrated with the existing activities and create the program in this project. While maintaining most of the present function as an office building and retails, the new programs like an old-style dinind theater and public plaza is added to the development. The whole building will be redesigned according to the style used in the old des galleries buildin, the Art Deco style.
