While working closely with a lead design architect, I modeled design concepts for K-12 Elementary schools. I collaborated with interior designers and architects in order to create feasibility studies for entire school replacements and phasing plans. Using programs such as SketchUp, Revit, and the Adobe Suite, I created proposals that were presented to school districts for approval. I also did research into sustainability and health programs such as LEED and the WELL Building standard.

Working with architects from Dotte Agency and with input from the Kansas City, Kansas Community, I fabricated urban renewal designs for Wyandotte county. This included bike racks, park signage, and interactive park exercise equipment out of steel and wood.

Modeled in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Produced renderings and visuals for clients using Adobe Suite. Created floor plans and revisions to designs while working directly under Design Principal in the Public/ Corporate practice group. Researched and created resources about sustainability programs and how the firm can incorporate green design strategies into initial concepts.

As part of a school sponsored study abroad, we studied the culture and architecture of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates in the winter of 2016.
Studio 804 – University of Kansas August 2017 – Present As a fifth-year grad student, our class is currently designing and building our eleventh LEED Platinum home. We are responsible for all drawing sets, construction, and sale of the home. Studio 804 has been recognized worldwide and has set a precedent for affordable, innovative, and sustainable architecture.
Skills Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp, Layout, BluBeam, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I have experience with wood and metalworking: TIG and MIG welding, plasma cutting, variety of saws and drill presses, basic tools, etc. I am a LEED AP for Homes with desires for LEED AP BD+C and WELL AP. I am passionate about sustainable, green, and renewable design. I am quick and eager to learn new skills and to meet new people.
