SPRING 2019 Study Abroad in Tokyo, Japan FALL 2010 – SPRING 2015 Memphis, Tennessee SUMMER 2019 Research Assistant to Marshall Prado The Filament Tower was a research project led by Marshall Prado. My involvement in the project included construction of the components, controlling the robot, help with determining the winding sequence, and configuring the assembly.

Experiential Sustainable Design Research

SUMMER 2018 Research Assistant to Mark DeKay In order to bridge the gap between experience and sustainable design practices, I spent the summer of 2018 assisting Mark DeKay, creator of the books Sun Wind and Light and Integral Sustainable Design, in creating his new book Experiential Sustainable Design for which I was responsible for spread design, chapter icons illustrations, and precedent research.

SPRING 2019 Consultant Assisted in the schematic design phase of a net zero house in Kamakura, Japan through building performance analyses.

Orange Products Solutions

SPRING 2017 – SUMMER 2018 Designer OPS creates solutions for major event layouts and temporary structure solutions. My responsibilities included developing the project from start to end; creating base plans of the event area, creating layouts for the events including tent placement, temporary structure design, and product schedules. SUMMER 2017, WINTER 2018 Internship As my first internship in an architectural firm, my responsibilities involved editing construction documents, drawing site plans, photographing construction sites, and taking notes for the principal architect during client meetings. I also spent unassigned time building 3d models in Revit.

321: Digital Workflow

FALL 2018 – PRESENT Teaching Assistant Working under Marshall Prado and Maged Guergius, my responsibilities included grading assignments and helping students understand and trouble shoot Grasshopper scripting and Revit Modeling.

212: Modern Architecture History and Theory

SPRING 2020 Teaching Assistant Working under Gregor Kalas, my responsibilities included grading reading responses, quizes, and exams. Another important aspect of the class was the discussion sections on Fridays where I lead a group of 24 student in talking about architecture.

FALL 2019 – SPRING 2020 Co-Chair The Annual All-College Spring Thing includes a number of events, lead by the cochairs, that engages the entire college of design. I was responsible for finding sponsorship for the events, commisioning the bands, working on graphics, inviting the guest lecturer, and keeping track of budgetting and risk management.
