ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, SEMESTER 6–BUSINESS PLAN (OFFFICE BUILDING) AT KHARGHAR The aim of the project is to design a suitable working environment, a new generation architectural solution for multicultural work force. The design includes of shared workspace and combination of work spaces which cater to different category of people. The utilities are placed on each floor, to be easily accessed by everyone . The garden roof terrace on the first floor is a part of “NOT A SAD DESK LUNCH’ movement wherein the staff freely interacts with one another.


ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, SEMESTER 6–BUSINESS PLAN (OFFFICE BUILDING) AT KHARGHAR The façade consists of vertical planters which reduce the thermal effect of the building.it follow the concept of biophilic design.

The wicking bed mechanism is used in the garden roof terrace to reduce the maintain of the space. The mechanism is a self watering cycle for a span of 2 days .

Boulder concept for furniture is an essential step to provide free movement instead of the cluster space .

The aim is to combine primary and secondary sectors in agriculture industry, i.e., farmers can directly sell the crops they grow. The stalls have specific water channels to reduce wastage. Below is an exercise to decrease negative aisle space

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, SEMESTER 4–PICKLE FACTORY AT VERSOVA The aim of the project is to make a pickle manufacturing unit for Koli women. The objective of the unit is to provide a space to convert a daily household product into an income generating commodity. COLLECT

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN ,SEMESTER 2 – CAFE, KOCHI The café is an informal sitting space, located in the lanes of Kochi . It can accommodate up to 15 people. The seating is at ground level. The leg space is dug into the ground, this stimulates the person into thinking that he is sitting in a hollow shaft. There is a gardening area provided near the seats to grow small shrubs. ROOF DESIGN – Coconuts grow here in abundance. The roof cladding the coconut is divided into 4 parts and each part is used to substitute a manglore tile. They resemble each other in cladding properties . The entrance of the roof is made of quoire and the path of the narrow lane is coloured to attract customers. The colours are derived from the graffiti wall surrounding it .

With time temple have been fortified and has become a closed environment. Here I have tried to create an open space merging with the temple. Another rising concern in children is lack of concentration, this can be tackled with the help of yoga. Mudras an essential part of yoga helps to link the brain to the body. They have been used as play equipments in the form of sculptures to capture the attention of children of all age . The Mudras used as sculptures are : 1.Gyan – knowledge 2. Prithvi – earth (mud) 3. Surya - sun (light) 4.Varun – air

The design has different pockets. The section have been height wise to keep different stationary. 2.

STUDIO APARTMENT DESIGN

The theme of the interior was blue and patterns therefore the tiles with different designs have been incorporated. Terrariums have been used to add aesthetic as well as add a soothing effect to the house . 3.

RETAIL SHOP

The commodity selected for the shop was sports wear with major focus on shoes. To add a rough and open gym effect mild steel section of bronze colour are used to make the shelves Handing lights are used for aesthetics A Jali wall including shoe patterns is used at the main entrance
