Phantom’s sequel, Love Never Dies, premieres in Chicago The mesmerizing sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera — one of the most successful musicals of all time and winner of more than 150 international awards — comes to Chicago for three weeks of performances.
A decade after disappearing from the Paris Opera House, the phantom has resurfaced in New York, living amongst the rides and freak shows of Coney Island and making a bid to win back the love of Christine Daaé. Described by critics as “The best thing Lloyd Webber has written in the quarter century since Phantom,” this thrilling new production takes audiences on a rollercoaster of romance, conspiracy and obsession and includes a magical score. Love Never Dies plays the Cadillac Palace Theatre through March 4. Visit BroadwayInChicago.com for ticket information. 4
