See the enthralling La Belle March 3-4

For just two dazzling days at Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the elite dance company of Monaco known for its elegant, classical style, performs La Belle (The Sleeping Beauty). Expect a spellbinding, visually stunning version of Marius Petipa’s classic story, with artistic director and award-winning choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot rolling out a fantastical adaptation of the original childhood fairy tale. Set to music by Tchaikovsky, this is a production that has been described as “absolutely sublime” by Dance Magazine. La Belle hits the stage for just two performances: Saturday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m. Call 312-341-2300 or visit AuditoriumTheatre.org for ticket information. 4

MAGGIANO’S LITTLE ITALY

Since opening the first location in downtown Chicago in 1991, Maggiano’s has strived to make its experience reminiscent of a Sunday-night dinner at your grandmother’s house. REVOLUTION BREWPUB

It doesn’t take a genius go realize the craft beer movement has officially taken over, and nowhere is this tasty trend more prevalent than right here in Chicago. Revolution Brewery has been a consistent driving force behind that with its popular AntiHero IPA and the brewpub in Logan Square, adorned with a classic tin ceiling and offering a great menu and lively, casual vibe. We recommend the bacon-fat popcorn, monster burgers, smoked pulled pork and fish and chips with a honeyjalepeno slaw. Tasty stuff indeed. Besides AntiHero, their robust, chocolaty Eugene Porter and the Bottom Up Wit, a Belgian-style wheat beer spiced with coriander and orange peel, are two other favorites. Revolution’s brewpub is at 2323 N. Milwaukee in Logan Square. The brewery, with tastings, tours and event space, is located about a mile north at 3340 N. Kedzie. www.RevBrew.com 34
