ON THE COVER IT’S A ROYAL AFFAIR Excalibur and Vision served millions of Chicago guests and visitors from around the world for 24 years and after six months of renovations; they re-opened as one giant Castle. The new multi-entertainment venue features luxurious décor, furnishings, state of the art sound systems, lighting and special effects. Castle houses five different social environments, meaning there is something for everyone. The street level Castle Craft Pub & Eatery serves a number of small plates, brick-oven pizza and microbrews. It incorporates cozy booths, bar seating, a lounge and billiard tables simulating a regal English pub. Further into the night, guests can choose from the five-level Palladium nightclub, the three-level Sanctuary, an environment open to all lifestyles, the Cabaret, or the Lair Lounge, which offers guests an intimate lounge experience.
