The Joint Meeting will be preceded on Nov. 9–10 by seven in-depth Subspecialty Day meetings, covering cornea, glaucoma, oculofacial plastic surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, refractive surgery, retina, and uveitis. The Opening Session features keynote speaker Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP, author of Cutting for Stone; Jackson Memorial lecturer Joan W. Miller, MD; and Laureate Award recipient Stephen J. Ryan, MD.
